China blinds US spy satellites! (1 Viewer)

You're using the "If you've done nothing wrong you should have nothing to hide" arguement. Do you believe in privacy?

Haha, we do the same thing, so what? Doesn't really matter.

In China they tried to repair a burnt out light by having an underling stick a fork in a socket. thats not a joke. They may have developed certian technologies, but they are like the soviet union, an empty shell.

It would be unwise to underestimate the Chinese.
I’m not underestimating them, the Soviet Union could have still destroyed the world eh. But ultimately Chinas economic strength and technological abilities are hollow, because they don’t have the population base to support them without direct resource expenditure from the government on specific people. Eventually their development will burn out unless they can improve the pool of people to pull from.

Which they are trying to do.

Well lets see, fireworks/gunpowder, spaghetti, the compass, kites, iron casting, the clock, blast furance, the "rudder" on a ship, paper and printing .. the list goes on....

but the one thing that Americans probally would be in "wowing" over... the first Bomb and Cannon was made by China.

I also believe the importance of Intelligence.

Of course, I believed in NOT selling the Chinese Military the technology they required to FINALLY reach the U.S. with its nukes, too, but it didn't stop Slick Willey from doing it!

Espionage is not the only means of intelligence gathering, and I think China were justified in their actions. No one wants to be spied on.
