As The Economic Times puts it: "There is new evidence to show that China locked down all domestic traffic internally by end January 2020 but pushed to open foreign travel till end March. Data from Tom Tom traffic index, a traffic location site that covers 416 cities across 57 countries show that as a result of this strategy, China, intentionally or otherwise, was able to lockdown its cities unknown to the world. While this reduced the spread of the Corona virus within China, China’s aggressive foreign travel policy lead to a virus explosion worldwide": How China locked down internally for COVID-19, but pushed foreign travel

Basically, this is the equivalent of China's having dropped a neutron bomb upon us--and also upon the rest of the world.

Is it possible, perhaps, that the Administration knows this--but is simply reluctant to advertise the fact, as it would almost surely require a military response--and the beginning of WWIII?

Hi!

It might also require that the Administration defend its restriction of some travel from China to the West Coast of the US while permitting free travel to the East Coast major concentrations of population from Europe.

Regards, stay safe 'n well. Remember the Big 3: masks, hand washing and physical distancing.

What China did internally regarding Covid 19 is well know.

We know that Wuhan was locked down, we know that Hubei was locked down, we know that factories were closed across the country and that travel within the country was restricted. We know that mass quarantines were enforced and anyone entering China faced a 14 day quarantine.

None of that is secret

We also know that foreign countries chartered aircraft to bring their citizens and residents home in Feb. Canada, the US Russia all charted aircraft to bring people home when regular air travel was suspended. Again not a secret

In the US the virus strain that was most prevalent was one that came from Europe. France and Italy had infections going to December, if not November.
