Oh they gained plenty. The Russians were more than happy to compensate them with all sorts of German land, and the Poles got to loot the shit out of it as well while all Germans could do is whine.

You should read the Interview with former greek finance Minister Varoufakis. He says all other EU finance ministers fall silent when the german minister Schäuble gave orders. They looked at the Floor, betrayed their own opinion or political stand. He called them a pack of weasels.

You must not even be an EU member to be forced into submission by our economical might. Germany forced Switzerland to give up its banking system, by shutting them off.

Somebody’s opinion is not evidence of anything. You whine and cry and the rest of the world laughs in your face.

Even when Germany’s power was at its height Switzerland happily mocked you. They knew that if you tried to invade there’d be enough dead SS scum to fill the Atlantic.

Like I said.....Greeks are happy to slit the throats of German ultranationalists. It’s almost a national tradition.

Its ok If Switzerland mocked, doesnt change the fact they completly changed their Banking system in the way we demand it.

Same as Greece, which did as ordered.

Why did Switzerland gave up its banking system, gave us full acess, becried our methods as brutal but succumbed?

We demanded full acess to their data. They declined first. We cut their bsnks off from Frankfurt stockexchange and then offered their banking employee money if they sell out their banking data. In the end we got several gigabyte of data, huge customers of swiss banks buckled out and pulled their money out of switzerland, their business model crumbeled and...Switzerland agreed to our demands.

In Greece it only needed to starve their pensioners for one week and they caved in to fullfill all our demands.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The era when the United States and Russia decided the world's most important questions is in the past, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday, saying China and Germany were now heading for superpower status.

Addressing a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, Putin suggested that the role of the United States had waned, along with that of Britain and France, while Beijing and Berlin - in terms of political and economic weight -- were heading for superpower status.

If Washington was not prepared to discuss global problems with Moscow, Russia stood ready to have that discussion with other nations, said Putin, who was speaking via video link.

He said Washington could no longer lay claim to exceptionalism and questioned why it would want to.

Ahead of the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 3, Putin said he hoped the new administration would be ready for dialogue on security and nuclear arms control.

Washington last week rejected a Russian proposal for an unconditional one-year extension of the last treaty limiting U.S. and Russian strategic nuclear weapons deployment, calling the suggestion "a non-starter."

The New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) accord, signed in 2010 is due to expire in February. It restricts the numbers of strategic nuclear warheads that Russia and the United States can deploy as well as the missiles and bombers that carry them.

Despite their differences, Moscow and Washington appear to be moving closer to a deal on New START.

The majority of the world is a shithole and we dont want get dragged into it.

Germany only reluctantly takes more and more responsibilities in the world, since US influence collapses globally and we are seen as positive and rational force.
