Over the last few days I have been watching more TV then normal since everyone in my house is sick. Anyway I saw a news program where in England I think it was there was a mother that had a 10 year old that weighed 218 lbs. The child protective services people were trying to take the child away based on child abuse because of the child's weight.

So this got me thinking do you think a child should be taken away from parents solely based on the child's weight?

I think if a parent is providing junk food and that is why the child is so heavy then yes they should be removed and placed into a hospital where they can receive healthy food and gain the knowledge on the correct way to eat, I also think in order for the parents to get the child back they should have to go through training on how to eat healthy.

What are your thoughts?
