Thank goodness ICE received 150 billion $$$ in additional funding, so that ICE agents will be increased by 10x in the next few years and once they get their schooling and cars and weapons, these 10x larger units will storm the inner-cities by 2027/28 before the next presidential elections and cleanse them from illegals. There will be a big clash, which will likely win Vance or another R the next election too.
Because Ds rather stand up for illegal (criminals), than real American citizens. They don't learn. And if they don't learn, they won't win in 2028.
Federal agency U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has seen abysmal cooperation from Chicago police who have refused to turn over 92% of illegal immigrants in law enforcement custody due to its “sanctuary city” policy since President Donald Trump took office, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced on Friday that Chicago’s refusal to let police work with ICE has led to virtually all illegal immigrants being released onto the streets after being arrested by local police for offenses in the community.
“In just the last seven months, ICE has issued over 1,664 detainers in Chicago alone,” Noem said during a press conference in the Chicago area Friday morning. “Unfortunately, Chicago and its leadership has only honored 8% of those.”
Sanctuary cities and states have policies that bar local and state police from handing over most illegal immigrants to federal immigration authorities, where they will then go through deportation proceedings before an immigration judge.
“The elected leaders in this state of Illinois are ignoring the law. In fact, they’re being obstructionists when it comes to getting dangerous criminals off their streets,” Noem said. “That includes Governor [JB] Pritzker, Mayor [Brandon] Johnson, and others who have worked so hard to protect these dangerous criminals. They’d rather be a sanctuary state and continue to put those individuals above American citizens.”
Noem pointed to four recent arrests that ICE made in Illinois communities, including a Mexican man who was previously convicted for predatory sexual criminal assault against a victim under 13 years old, a Polish man convicted of attempted murder and aggravated domestic battery, and a Micronesian national who was convicted for driving under the influence three times.
The press conference follows the Justice Department's Tuesday move of publishing a list of cities, counties, and states that identify as “sanctuary” zones or places where law enforcement will not turn over illegal immigrants to federal immigration authorities. Illinois, Cook County, and Chicago were all listed.
The Trump administration issued a sharp warning to the sanctuary jurisdictions, threatening further lawsuits from places that release suspected criminal or convicted illegal immigrants back onto the streets rather than transfer them to ICE.
ICE is a federal agency within the DHS and has been tasked by Trump with carrying out the "largest-ever" deportation operation in national history. To date, ICE has arrested and deported roughly 150,000 illegal immigrants.
And the people of Chicago continue to vote for democrats who do little to nothing to correct the problems in Chicago including billions spent on illegal immigrants while safety, housing, education, and jobs in Chicago for the middle class and poor suffer. Keep giving to the democrats so they can live well while you continue to suffer from their policies.Federal agency U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has seen abysmal cooperation from Chicago police who have refused to turn over 92% of illegal immigrants in law enforcement custody due to its “sanctuary city” policy since President Donald Trump took office, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Look up "Treason" in the US Constitution. You'll find your use of the word "traitors" is wildly innaplicable.Incredible what traitors these sanctuary cities and its mostly D politicians are ... their goal is to be advocates for illegal (criminals), rather than being advocates for real American citizens.

I advocate for all citizens, except Austrians.Incredible what traitors these sanctuary cities and its mostly D politicians are ... their goal is to be advocates for illegal (criminals), rather than being advocates for real American citizens.
Overstaying a visa and residing in the United States is not a criminal act. You don't go to jail for it. You get deported. Labeling unauthorized immigrants as criminals is Orwellian propaganda, used as a blanket to treat criminals and non-criminals alike.Incredible what traitors these sanctuary cities and its mostly D politicians are ... their goal is to be advocates for illegal (criminals), rather than being advocates for real American citizens.
Just to take a tangent off of this. No, we are neither traitors nor advocates for criminals.
You fail to understand that the majority of Angelenos — my city, Los Angeles — support our status as a sanctuary city. So US citizens are advocating for humane and compassionate treatment of immigrants. Same for the entire State of California. We have large communities of immigrants from around the globe.
We also understand that too many law-and-order types view all immigrants as threats, and automatically assume new immigrants are undocumented. What many fail to understand is the concept of critical mass — when there are enough speakers of a certain language that will be what is spoken. Farsi, Mandarin, Tagalog, Russian, Armenian, Spanish, Korean, Cantonese, etc.
Just to take a tangent off of this.
The Trump administration declared Nevada to be a sanctuary state, without reason, and without declaring one single city or county as being sanctuary. I started a thread about it in the West forum. Haven't looked at it. Lol.
Anyway, the other day, governor Joe Lombardo agreed to dispatch the NV National Guard in assisting ICE.
The motive behind declaring NV a sanctuary state is now clear. I'm very disappointed. I voted for Lombardo. He has never been MAGA, but I can't excuse bending over for Trump. The state was in danger of losing funding, so I understand the fiscal motive, but Lombardo has lost my vote. I don't particularly care about any of the announced Democratic candidates so far. I might just vote for the hot realtor running for the Republican nomination. She doesn't stand a chance, but it's that or NOTA. I've had no problem voting NOTA over the years. I tend not to play the lesser of two evils game. If I don't like any of the candidates, I let that be known.
This changed after Trump 1.0. I voted NOTA in 2016. Never again in any race involving MAGA.
What's incredible is the ignorance of those claiming that immigrants who are here illegally are criminals. Coming into the country without proper documentation or staying here beyond a VISA's end date is a CIVIL matter. Not a criminal one.Incredible what traitors these sanctuary cities and its mostly D politicians are ... their goal is to be advocates for illegal (criminals), rather than being advocates for real American citizens.
Ignoring a detainer request is not a crime.Incredible what traitors these sanctuary cities and its mostly D politicians are ... their goal is to be advocates for illegal (criminals), rather than being advocates for real American citizens.
I wonder how many times that needs to be repeated before it is understood. What's incredible is the ignorance of those claiming that immigrants who are here illegally are criminals.
