Cheney

If you knew anything about the military you would know that all their periodicals lean far to the left...........I use to subscribe to the Navy Times but I cancelled my subscription becasue of their bias left wing reporting especially editorially..........
:lamo :lamo, I thought you said the left hates the troops? So the military's periodicals hates the military?
It's better if you came out of the closet and admit it np, say it with me now. Anyone who disagrees with me is in the left.

First, please I beg you, to please show just how it became defined that patriotism is supporting the president or hailing the president.
Let me be more clear then. The attack was leveled at Navy Pride and, for him - as we all know, supporting his President IS his way of being patriotic. And so the question still remains: Why does his patriotism disgust you so much?

The question was simple. What would happen to Cheney if he gave the same speech in front of a non-prescreened crowd. It was a perfectly legitimate question with no attack on anyone.
secondly, NP's take on patriotism doesn't mean ****. If I were to say that only by criticizing the president do you then qualify as a patriot are you going to ask the person that "attacks" that the same question? Also NP constantly rags on the former president, does that then mean he's anti-patriotic?
Better luck next time. Since when has criticizing the president become anti-patriotic?

I love the way the Vice President Torques your liberals jaws and he is absolutely right...........I saw the speech and he was given a standing ovation by the troops.......

Of course they did, they aren't going to boo that which they are fighting for, are they? Moreover, who the hell has the guts to boo the vice-president? Surely not troops who would get scolded for doing so. Bush could nuke China and the troops would cheer, purely because that is what they are "suppose" to do.

Put Cheney in front of people who aren't in a situation like that with actual research on the subject, then see what happens.

I don't see how anyone could legit support this war. I just don't. There is FAR too much evidence to prove it was little more than a money thing. But the blind and ignorant will continue to preach, I suppose.

Criticizing the President is not anti-patriotic. I never said it was. I said that, for NP, supporting the President IS his way of being patriotic. Who are we to say he can't show his patriotism in that way? Okay, so here's the question you keep avoiding: What is it about his patriotism that you find so disgusting?

Why disgusting? Because it's not patriotism, it's a perversion of what it means to be a patriot.
My questioning or my criticism of any governmental individual does not make me unpatriotic. For if that were the case then we would still be a colony of the British Empire.
As I said, he shoots off against another president, but when anything is said about this pres or this administration it becomes somehow unpatriotic? That's not patriotism, that's hypocritical and nothing but blind partisan apologetic spin.
Just as you are trying to do here. Switch the topic away from the VP's speech as well as the OP's statement so that you can make more attacks to derail the thread topic.
Now I've answered your question, answer the same question I made towards NP. What do you think would happen had the vp made the same speech in front of an audience that was not pre-screened? How is this perfectly legitimate question in anyway an attack?
Add to that one more question, do you agree with NP's definition of patriotism?

How exactly did you answer the question?

As with any group of soldiers, pre-screened or not, I am confident the reaction would have been the same.

NP defines his own way of being patriotic. His method is not the same as mine, but I'm not here to judge it, as you are.

What a cop out! Surely you know that he meant what would happen if Cheney spoke in front of a non-screened non-military audience? You conveniently played dumb to avoid, again, answering his question.

So why not take the high road and answer his question without your spin cycle? What would happen if Bush or Cheney spoke in front of any un-screened audience of 500 or more? Do you think they'd get the blind Zieg Hile salute that our military is ordered by peer pressure to do when confronted by either gentleman?

Look what happened when Cheney went to Iraq and un-screened questions were asked, remember? Total meltdown, giant story. I'm certain that after that incident the Bushies are making damn sure they never speak in front of a non-partisan crowd ever again.

It's pure propaganda and fortunately a strong majority of Americans are not buying into their bullshit anymore.

Republican Party on Yahoo! News Photos

You were saying...?

Can you support your jealous assertion with evidence?

Yes.
The one in the tie looks like a stereotypical Bush Admin sycophant, while the one in the striped shirt looks like a transient whose services were no doubt procured for the price of a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20.
The two of them don't appear to belong together, at least not in the universe I inhabit. Ergo, they must both have been bribed to stand there holding that sign.
The vagrant, however, was apparently not paid enough to look happy about doing it.

In other words, you have no evidence. Thanks for playing.

Because I had not seen it until you posted it. So lookey there ... we have some folks who support Cheney and some other folks who don't. Gee.
Yup, just like in the USA....20% or less support him and 80% or more deplore him...your photo had two people my video had several hundred....my video was the story your photo was propaganda...
