The Pentagon report says no Saddam ties to al-Qaeda. The CIA report says no Saddam ties to al-Qaeda. The 911 report says to Saddam ties to al-Qaeda. The only one saying there was is Dick Cheney. So where did Cheney get his information? From the Tooth Fairy? From the Easter Bunny? From Bush's latest alcoholic hallucination? We would all like to know.

That's My Story....and I'm stickin' to it

And .....T.O.T...
Contrary to what the CIA and the Pentagon say the facts seem to speak differently. If they had no ties then why exactly was the bomb maker for the 1993 WTC attack, one Abdul Rahman Yasin, given sanctuary and a salary by the Iraqi government?
Ya how dare I state facts.
If these are your "Facts"....I certainly hope things have become clearer since then.
"WASHINGTON — U.S. authorities in Iraq say they have new evidence that Saddam Hussein's regime gave money and housing to Abdul Rahman Yasin, a suspect in the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, according to U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials.
The Bush administration is using the evidence to strengthen its disputed prewar assertion that Iraq had ties to terrorists, including the al-Qaeda group responsible for the Sept. 11 attack. But President Bush, in contrast with comments Sunday by Vice President Cheney, said Wednesday, "We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved."
Cheney had said on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday that "we don't know" if Iraq was involved but said some suggestive evidence had surfaced. He asserted that the campaign in Iraq is striking at terrorists involved in the attacks. Cheney also disclosed the new evidence about the 1993 suspect on the program, but he did not name Yasin.
Military, intelligence and law enforcement officials reported finding a large cache of Arabic-language documents in Tikrit, Saddam's political stronghold. A U.S. intelligence official who spoke on condition of anonymity said translators and analysts are busy "separating the gems from the junk." The official said some of the analysts have concluded that the documents show that Saddam's government provided monthly payments and a home for Yasin. "
Perhaps you can add to this information?....its all i could find.
Whereas members of al Qaida, an organization bearing responsi-
bility for attacks on the United States, its citizens, and interests,
including the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, are
known to be inIraq;
Whereas Iraq continues to aid and harbor other international ter-
rorist organizations, including organizations that threaten the
lives and safety of United States citizens

Ya I've read that to regardless of whether Saddam was involved in the plot or not the undisputable fact of the matter is that he gave him sanctuary and a salary after the bombing IE he was harboring terrorists:
That's straight from the AUMF and the case of Abdul Rahman Yasinit proves that it is beyond dispute.
Actually, though there is evidence the Government may very well have helped him hide, Saddams role is far from indesputable, but thats not really the point, now is it.
You do of course reallize, that al Qaida cells are active within the United States, as is the IRA, KKK, and virtually any terrorist organization you could mention. What then do we do with....ourselves.
No the fact that he was given sanctuary is indisputable, this is not Al-Zarqawi in Kurdish territory only making occassional visits to Baghdad hospitals we're talking about here, this person was there with the knowledge and the consent of the Iraqi government that is not in dispute.
This sophistry gets better everytime I here it. A) Comparing an open society with some of the most lenient immigration laws in the world to a police state like Iraq is a ****ing joke, and B) you don't see the difference between a government harboring known terrorists and terrorists hiding undercover in order to attack a nation?
But President Bush, in contrast with comments Sunday by Vice President Cheney, said Wednesday, "We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved.
[/b][/i]Never thought I'd see the day that you would be calling President Bush a liar.
For ****'s sakes how many times do I have to respond to the same dumbass comment, regardless of whether or not Saddam aided in the 1st WTC bombing the fact remains that Saddam gave him asylum and a salary, bottom line: Saddam was harboring a known high ranking member of AQ.
I noticed where you got your source, and it is from a dittohead site. No REPUTABLE news organization has reported it.
I will once again tell you that President Bush does not agree with you.
How about U.S.A. today?
bottom line: Saddam was harboring a known high ranking member of AQ.
From USA Today:
Even if the new information holds up — and intelligence and law enforcement officials disagree on its conclusiveness — the links tying Yasin, Saddam and al-Qaeda are tentative.
The World Trade Center bombing was carried out by a group headed by Ramzi Yousef, who is serving a 240-year prison term. Federal authorities say Yousef's group received financial support from al-Qaeda via Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks. But a direct al-Qaeda role in the 1993 attack hasn't been established.
According to USA Today, that hasn't been established.
cheney does not care for facts or what really happened anywhere. We all know what is important to Cheney,,,, money from taxpayers for Haliburton..The Pentagon report says no Saddam ties to al-Qaeda. The CIA report says no Saddam ties to al-Qaeda. The 911 report says to Saddam ties to al-Qaeda. The only one saying there was is Dick Cheney. So where did Cheney get his information? hehe love how the right and Cheney continue to spread false facts or better yet twisted facts about Al-Zarqawi in hope of "justifying" the mess they started on lies and half truths.

First of all I find it hard to believe that a man could be given safe passage from Kurdistan territory to a Baghdad hospital in a police state like Iraq without higher ups approval, but regardless even if Zarqawi wasn't in Iraq with the knowledge of the Baathists, Abdul Rahman Yasin the bomb maker in the 1993 WTC bombing carried out by Ramzi Yousef (nephew of K.S.M.)was given asylum and a salary by the Iraqi government, Saddam was harboring a known terrorist who appeared on the F.B.I.'s most wanted right alongside O.B.L.
And, This justifies the Death, Debt, and Deciet?
What will it take for you to admit we made a mistake?
