These male Indian bullfrogs turn bright yellow during mating season in the monsoon. Then they apparently turn back to their standard brownish colors after mating season is over. They also have 2 throat vocal sacks, one on either side, which turn bright blue. They seem to be more aggressive and physical than American bullfrogs too. They get in wrestling matches with other males!
