Chechen extremist group BORZ2 took responsibility for murdering US cops (1 Viewer)

Beheaded bodies of 3 cops
...........The decapitated bodies of four people, including three police officers, were found on June 21 in northern Mexico near the US border.

As I heard in a news digest on ABC, Chechen extremists in BORZ2 group took responsibility for this murder case and two other cases that took place earlier this year. All of them were committed at the boundary between the US and Mexico while victims were usually American cops kidnapped in some US border town and decapitated past the boundary in Mexico.

ABC also reported that BORZ2 is a branch of Chechen international terrorist network, guided from London and Tbilisi (Georgia). About a month ago BORZ2 addressed to Moslem residents of the US to show their devotion to Allah and with his name on their lips fight against the ‘unbelievers’ in America.

Now, are English special services so shiftless that they cannot catch Chechen terrorists who boldly have they residence right under the very nose of MI5 in the very capital of their country? Or they simply don't care!? Is it not their job to secure safety – in the first hand of England itself? Recollect last year's bombings in the Tube. Was it not enough to understand you cannot play cat and mouse with terrorists!

I have to agree. Unless there are some unknown circumstances then why haven't they cracked down on them? It would only be a matter of time until they attacked some target in London.

Not too sure about this but I think the Chechnyan seperatist movement is not regarded as terrorist and thus are allowed to operate their fundraising and PR here freely. I'll have to look for some details, I can definitely confirm that the UK allows the His'ub Tahrir group to operate here despite it's being a banned organisation in many places across Europe and the Middle East. What can I say, civil liberties rule around here, it's very naive.

After Beslan and the airplane and apartment bombings I'm almost certain they are classified as terrorist organisations. It would seem to be an abomination for them not to be classified as such.

"Don't ask me man, I only work here."

That's the first chance I've had to quote from 'Aliens', love that movie!

I think it's something to do with the seperation of the Chechen seperatist campaign from the Islamist militant resistance, y'know like it's a charity supporting self governance so it's allowed, I'm not really sure but I think it's something like that.

Yeah, for sure! I saw a documentary on that school, sad.

“Russian cities, including Moscow, were subjected to several bomb attacks, which killed and injured hundreds of persons. Police accused the attackers of belonging to Chechen and Dagestan insurgent groups with ties to Usama Bin Ladin and foreign mujahidin but presented no evidence linking Chechen separatists to the bombings. The attacks prompted Russia to send military forces into Chechnya to eliminate ‘foreign terrorists.’“

In hindsight, it looks like a missed opportunity.
