Kirk

"In fall 2023, after Hamas attacked Israel, Kirk said on different episodes of his podcast "The Charlie Kirk Show" that "Jewish dollars" were funding Marxist ideas in education and policy and contributing to opening the borders."

Tree of Life synagogue shooter

"In the weeks before the shooting, Bowers made antisemitic posts directed at the HIAS-sponsored[10][11] National Refugee Shabbat[78] of October 19–20, in which Dor Hadash[12] participated. He claimed Jews were aiding members of Central American caravans moving toward the United States border and referred to those migrants as "invaders".[9] Shortly before the attack, he posted on Gab that "HIAS likes to bring invaders in that kill our people. I can't sit by and watch my people get slaughtered. Screw your optics, I'm going in."[60][79][68]"

Kirk

“The great replacement strategy, which is well under way every single day in our southern border, is a strategy to replace white rural America with something different.” – The Charlie Kirk Show, March 1st, 2024

Buffalo shooter

"A manifesto allegedly written and posted by the suspect in a mass shooting at a Buffalo supermarket that killed 10 people laid out specific plans to attack Black people and repeatedly cited the “great replacement" theory, the false idea that a cabal is attempting to replace white Americans with nonwhite people through immigration, interracial marriage and, eventually, violence."

Rather remarkable. I suspect both ideas have a history of violence.

This guy was a despicable human being. Despicable human beings don't deserve to die violently, but they often do.

And they want to make this guy a martyr, sad.

Charlie Kirk: The American Right's pro-Israel star who got silenced

The American conservative movement lost one of its most dynamic young leaders when Charlie Kirk, founder of the influential Turning Point USA organization, was fatally show. The staunchly pro-Israel voice, who relentlessly defended Israel in the ongoing war and took on antisemites on campuses, had built a nationwide student political network and served as a key ally to President Donald Trump in mobilizing younger voters.

Israel mourns Charlie Kirk

Conservative Christian commentator was an outspoken voice for Israel. Netanyahu: We lost a “lion-hearted friend.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Kirk a “lion-hearted friend of Israel” who “fought the lies and stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilization.” Bibi said he spoke to Kirk just weeks ago and invited him to visit Israel. “Sadly, that visit will not take place.”

In what way do either of those posts refute the Charlie Kirk quotes in the OP?

No coloration what so ever between the statements and the events.

There is a history of anti-semetic and fascistic language causing violence.

You mean the guy who advocated for extremist views inspired people to carry out extremist actions? It's almost like allowing extremist ideas encourages extremist actions.

And in the end, Kirk died because he wasn't extreme enough for the right.

The Tree of Life shooter didn't think Trump was doing enough about immigration.

So, Lincoln, JFK, RFK, and MLK were all despicable human beings?

I dont recall any of them claiming that Jewish money is causing our immigration crisis or that the opposition party is trying to replace white people.

I mean how many far right radicals have shot people in the last year alone?

I just wish Maga would stoop expressing ideas that promote hate and violence.

Warning: That fascist hate doesn't seem to be flying in the former Beacon of Light to the World (kind of laughable now, I know).

If this is about "white replacement" we can put progressive hero FDR on the list as well.

With our historic understanding of the misery it caused, is it appropriate to continue to voice this message today, especially in the wake of violence in Buffalo that it provoked?

Yes, I think facts about early progressives should be voiced.
