MTG is not a good liar.

I like how the prosecutor asked her if she ever called Nancy Pelosi a traitor. MTG immediately said "No."
Then the prosecutor started to bring up proof of what she said, and MTG IMMEDIATELY went "Well, um, yeah, um..."

Great to see her squirm.

Too bad the judge will rule she is eligible.

Yup, it will be too bad. Imagine what a big head w/a bigger mouth she'll sport after winning this hearing.

I also wonder how strict the judge was on any laughing especially after MTG made a statement like this? "I only believe in peaceful demonstration," Greene said. "I do not support violence."

I know I'd be in trouble - possibly told to leave the room.

I'd be saying "Bullshit" from the back of the courtroom every time she said "I only support peaceful protest."

The funny thing is that "I don't recall." is NOT a sufficiency for the trier of fact to reach, based on the actual evidence, that someone actually did the deed(s) alleged.

Of course "I don't recall." IS a position that does preclude a conviction on a charge of perjury.
of course, she'll call any line of questioning that catches her up a "perjury trap", but those Tweets and in particular those (self recorded) videos don't lie!

If she says "I don't recall." when asked if she made (or specifically approved) the 'tweets' then she cannot be convicted of perjury as it would be impossible to prove that, AT THE MOMENT WHEN THE QUESTION WAS ASKED, she actually did know if she had made (or specifically approved) the 'tweets'.

My point is that no matter how hard MTG tried to evade admitting she said certain things, those old Tweets and SM videos came back to bit her in the butt. She can play dumb or claim a faulty memory all she wants, but the Interweb keeps all SM receipts.

She does, however, appear to have grasped the concept behind

INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF HOLEOLOGY

- Lesson 1 -

BEFORE
the hole is too deep to climb out of - STOP DIGGING!

however, I'm not so sure that she has a firm grasp on the corollary, which is

Know when the hole is too deep to climb out of.

although I strongly suspect that she is at least vaguely aware that the hole is NOW too deep to climb out of.

The doors of ugliness have now swung fully open. Justice is confirmed to be, at least, partially blind. Enough to corkscrew our nation into the depths of no civility rerun. Good luck in the future my sensible co-members in DP.

ATLANTA (AP) — A judge in Georgia on Friday found that U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is qualified to run for reelection, concluding that a group of voters who had challenged her eligibility failed to prove she engaged in insurrection after taking office. But the decision will ultimately be up to Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

It would be cleaner for the voters just to vote her out of office and elect someone else.
hmmm......since they voted her in they must not be very bright.....she's on the Trump train.....full speed ahead

The people in her district get exactly what they deserve for voting for her. A lying, do nothing, Trump supporting Q-Nut. She will never contribute anything positive to the house or her district. She thinks it's all a TV show. I feel sorry for Georgians. And if they elect Hershel Walker, they get the award for the two dumbest members of congress in US history.

Congratulations Georgia, you're shining now. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he's saying that Republicans will happily abuse the precedent to block as many opponents as they can.

Or, alternatively, that many more democrats than republicans are worthy of it's attention.?

The Fourteenth Amendment is very clear about forbidding insurrectionists from Congress.
How come there have no charges for insurrection against anyone?

That they are waking up to the realization that the Democrats sold them a bill of goods in 2020.
Not just a bill of goods but Soros's people running the show along with Obama.

What's the problem?

After all the Canadians elected someone who actually led an armed insurrection and was convicted (and executed) for treason to their government?

Good. I will not vote for anyone name Bush for the rest of my life.
I don't think they're related to the Bush family of the past 2 presidents.

The US tends to react slowly, if at all. On the upside, I suppose that we're winning the race for ignorance thanks to the elitists behind a circus of politics.

I recommend Lynne Olson's "Those Angry Days: Roosevelt, Lindbergh, and America's Fight Over World War II, 1939-1941" - Random House Trade Paperbacks; Illustrated edition (Jan. 14 2014) ISBN-10 :: 0812982142 / ISBN-13 :: 978-0812982145.

The degree of parallelism is scary.
