CEO-to-worker pay gap is now 351-to-1. In 1965, the ratio was 21-to-1

Well, what does everyone want to do to reverse this trend?
Bring back punitive FIT top rates. Like 75% on all personal income over a million or even 2 million. Corporations will be swimming in cash looking for deductible uses like workers salaries.

Yes as soon as Reagan slashed the rates on the top bracket the rest of America stopped getting raises and most of the increased profits since have gone to the 1%. I wonder why that is?

Kennedy cut top rates a lot more than Reagan did. What happened then?

No he did not . JFK cut the tops rates to 70%. Double what Reagans rates were. We need JFK's rates back now. The Right loves JFK so why not?

In February 1964, the Kennedy/LBJ tax cut reduced all marginal tax rates by about 30% over two years, with the top rate falling from 91% to 70% by1965 and the lowest rate from 20% to 14%. Corporate tax rates were also reduced, particularly for small firms.

You're correct, I was wrong about "a lot more".

Nevertheless, Kennedy cut top taxes by a very, very large amount.,

What happened then?

Which part of "unforced labor" is unclear to you? Did some workers decide to leave?

Guess what? That's the freedom American workers have. Why so angry over Liberty and Freedom?

But, but…I thought left free and alone, the wealth was supposed to eventually trickle down, not concentrate into fewer and fewer hands. What happened to supply side Reaganomics?

As always, conservatives try to operate from obsolete, outdated, and dysfunctional concepts.

Another non- problem that the Government ( read: Democrats ) need to 'fix".

No employee does worse BECAUSE the does better.
