After the plagiarism allegations against Annalena Baerbock, there have now also been those against the CDU politician Armin Laschet. The Union Chancellor candidate himself spoke of a mistake and apologized. In surveys, Laschet is now behind the SPD candidate Olaf Scholz.
The Chancellor candidate of the Union parties Armin Laschet (CDU) has admitted mistakes in his book “The rising republic. Immigration as a chance” from 2009 and apologized for it.
No.Is every German politician a plagiarist?
Scholz is getting some traction, but it seems that doesn't translate to SPD gaining more support, unfortunately.I hope that Olaf Scholz and the SPD gain traction, once the German vacation people are back in the country in September.
The party belongs to 25-30%, not 15-17% right now.
IMO, Scholz is the most logical/stable successor of Merkel (with Luschet and Prellbock being dogged down by scandal after scandal).

I suspect lots of politicians all around the world are. It's just become the current in thing for the media to report on in Germany at the moment. Is every German politician a plagiarist? Starting to look that way.
