CBS News edits transcript, video clip of Bill Clinton discussing Hillary's health

CBS News edited a video clip and transcript to remove former President Clinton's comment during an interview that Hillary Clinton "frequently" fainted in the past.
Bill Clinton sat down with CBS's Charlie Rose on Monday to try to clear the air around questions regarding his wife's health after she collapsed while getting into a van at a Sunday 9/11 memorial ceremony.
"Well, if it is then it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors," Bill Clinton said when Rose asked him if Hillary Clinton was simply dehydrated or if the situation was more serious. "Frequently -- well not frequently, rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her when she got severely dehydrated, and she’s worked like a demon, as you know, as Secretary of State, as a senator, and in the year since."
But the CBS Evening News version cut Clinton's use of "frequently" out. And a review by The Hill of the official transcript released by the network shows Clinton saying "Frequently -- well not frequently," is omitted as well.

During Monday night’s CBS Evening News broadcast, a clip of Charlie Rose interviewing Bill Clinton omitted what some would call a Freudian-like slip from Clinton on the status of his wife’s health. Though Clinton corrected himself mid-statement, it was not a message the Clinton campaign, or apparently CBS, wanted out in the public, so they edited it out.
The network backpedaled Tuesday and included the full quote on their morning show but the damage had already been done. Tuesday morning’s cable shows on CNN, MSNBC and Fox all used the edited clip from CBS instead.

I noticed that. Well, its already been proven that her health issues are not mere conspiracy theories. Its been proven that the DNC did in fact put their finger on the scales. It has been proven time and time again that Hillary is a compulsive liar - at this point, whereas I previously remained on the fence with regard to Clinton's character and integrity, I feel a growing sense of responsibility to challenge her and scrutinize her whenever the opportunity presents itself, because at this point I'm more afraid of what will happen if myself and many others do not.

There is something seriously wrong with this. The GOP doesn't just casually put forward candidates as despicable as Donald Trump. The DNC doesn't just casually capitulate to special interests like this. There is something wrong with all of this. Not just Hillary. Not just Trump. At this point the denial or downplaying of these gaping issues is irresponsible.

I think we are seeing the perfect storm. Both sides pander to their bases but they don't listen to their bases except to figure out what BS to feed to their base.

Clinton's health report confirms that the former president misspoke when he said "frequently". There were several incidents of fainting due to deep vein thrombosis, but they were years apart...
