Caspar Weinberger, Ronald Reagan's secretary of defense, has died. The person who built up the the U.S. defense establishment after the retreat and capitulation of the Jimmy Carter years, was key in Reagan's successful ending of the soviet union. He is unfortunately probably unknown to the PC-addled, brainwashed students in U.S. government schools, who probably would have grown up in a very different world except for his efforts. R.I.P.
