Carney - Ford bromance

Doug Ford has been effusive in his praise of Carney's economic plans since they met for lunch shortly after the federal election.

These comments are a little more personal. They've clearly hit it off.



This will really steam Poilievre. Despite both being conservatives Ford did not endorse Pierre in the election.

Ford does seem to be raising his profile all the time. He will probably challenge Poilievre at some point, but not while he still has a Province to run.

That would an interesting development. Ford is more center aligned than Poilievre and not nearly as stupid.
 
Ford can also claim to have a more than five syllable resume.
 
Yes, Ford did use to make some great cars with the Mondeo and Focus but being in love with the company seems a bit much.
