Liberals.....as you feverishly froth at the mouth trying to ban semi automatic military looking rifles, allow me to tell you what is going to fill the void. The pump action shotgun. The pump action shotgun is a platform many times more
powerful than the AR-15. It fires shotshells of many different variety for many different applications. From buckshot to dragons breath. With buckshot each pull of the trigger launches multiple projectiles usually 9- .30caliber balls totaling 1 full
ounce of lead. These projectiles spread as they leave the barrel making successfully hitting your target much much easier. Pumps load, reload, or top off extremely fast and hold from 5 to 9 shells usually. An active shooter and with a pump shotgun is just as if not more deadly in a school setting. Expect less shots but less misses. Each hit less survivable. It is very possible that you take this problem from bad to worst.
I have extensive training in both platforms. It is bad news either way.

and we all know this very well.......but when guns are harder to obtain then mad dog killers will have a harder time murdering our children in their classrooms.....and our families when they are grocery shopping and attending church......over and over we have lost our ability as a nation to protect our children and families to these killers....and we continue to turn away when we know what the problem is.....our children are our supreme responsibility.....For arguments sake, lets assume that the gun-grabbers are successful in getting "assault" weapons banned. (That would mean all AR platforms and AKs.)
So some homicidal maniac will be forced to buy his assault weapon on the black market.
OR he can substitute 3 Glock 17s (which hold 10 rounds in the mag) for an AR type rifle with a 30-round mag. He has the same number of bullets to fire rapidly. His massacre will still happen.
You can ban ALL guns. There will always be a black-market for guns. Criminals will still be able to get them, because Black-market gun dealers don't do background checks.
Whoever shows up with the cash will get the weapons he needs to do his evil.

I know more about mask efficacy than you do by a mile. I've consumed many CDC studies. I personally consulted an epidemiologist who's career was teaching doctors and hospitals how to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Finally I reviewed actual comparison examples. Many of them.
