Do you have another theory as to why Trump has such a hard-on for Harvard? If it's not revenge what is the transaction in this 'deal'?

Harvard has an endownment north of $50 BILLION. Do you realize how many lawyers you can hire for that kind of cash? Furthermore, does Trump realize he could effectively pull every federal dollar out of Harvard and it would not make so much as a dent in their operations?

MAGA lives and breathes wacky conspiracy theories, so I suppose it’s fair game that the rest of the world speculates about why Donald is angry specifically at Harvard.

He's just going after Harvard because they are the premier university in America. He gambled that they would bend the knee, and he could claim his macho manly tough man status. He lost that gamble. Now he's really angry about it.

Trump being his crybaby self. He picked the wrong fight this time.
 
I don't recall Trump promising to go after Ivy League schools as part of his campaign promises.

Not sure how any of this lowers the price of groceries...
