Canadian PM Justin Trudeau visits Trump at Mar-a-Lago amid steep tariff threats

Leadership. Not something you can learn on a college campus. Trump has done more in 4 weeks than Brandon has done in his entire presidency (but... but... but... Trump said windmills can give you cancer!)

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has flown to Florida to meet with President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club after Trump threatened to impose sweeping tariffs on Canadian products.

A person familiar with the matter said Trudeau will have dinner with Trump. The official was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Canadian Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc accompanied Trudeau on the trip. Trudeau's visit comes days after Trump threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico on the first day of his presidency over failures by both nations to curb the flow of illegal immigrants and illicit drugs from those countries into the United States.

I am not trying to make Canada look like anything. I am just stating facts. I guess we will find out soon enough.

It's not looking good for the kooky Liberals though, President Trump might actually be doing some good. How devisting for the Left.
 
There is no major problem at the Canadian border. Trump is an idiot and Trudeau pulled the short straw and got sent to explain in small words to the idiot the current situation. And current procedures in place.

Because the incoming idiot Dear Leader needs to have small words and crayons used to understand things.

Yes kooky Liberals. It's a thing and I will continue to call it out. The next 4 years are going to be better than the last 4 years without a doubt. And a majority of Americans think so too given the landslide victory for President Trump.

I wouldn't get too excited, this is pretty standard. We'll play nice as long as you guys do. If not, well, our guy didn't fold last time, he won't this time either, especially given the silliness of the attempt to lump us in with Mexico to explain your illegal immigration and fentanyl woes. Even the conservative puppet that will replace Trudeau next election is talking tough on record, which, I'll be honest, had shocked the hell out of me and given me a little bit of hope for what comes next.

I started out hating this Trump vs Canada rerun, but, honestly, Canadian politics are never more united and nonpartisan than when Trump is sabre rattling, the cooperation has been a nice relief.
 
Biden never met with Trudeau? Odd, I seem to recall multiple meetings...
