The internet's honeymoon with Justin Trudeau comes to an end after he praises Fidel Castro

Canadians quickly took to twitter to denounce his ignorance.

If his family had been one of those tens of thousands tortured or murdered under Castro's communist regime maybe he wouldn't say such stupid, insensitive things.
Castro flaunted double Rolex watches, the worlds most expensive cigars and ate like royalty while banning many staple foods and nearly all luxury items for the general population.

This is who Trudeau sees as a great leader.

What an assclown

Twitter is having a field day with #Trudeaueulogies, mocking Trudeau and his praise of a brutal dictator, murderer, torturer and oppressor of Cuba's people.

A lot of people at this forum who love Trudeau and some of the crazy political figures in the US would embrace a Fidel Castro ruling America. Imbeciles.

To be honest this is the first stupid thing the Canadian PM has said.

He might even believe it. You can never tell with that sort.

To be honest, you would be incorrect by a sizeable margin.

"Stupid things said by justin trudeau"

Google can be your friend

Oh he believes it alright.....what's more appalling is how many believe in him

With this I lost nearly all respect for that air-headed liberal pretty boy.

It's funny that he opposes the death penalty and wants to be seen as some lovely humanitarian, yet praises a man that frequently used firing squads to dispose of political dissident.

I think the left is simply impressed with how effectively Castro was able to hold a socialist system together for so long. I was raised in Cuba in the 1940's and 1950's. It wasn't perfect but it was a pretty good place to live. We had a greedy dictator (not nearly as bad as the current one) but he left people alone who left him alone. People were basically free and capitalism reigned supreme. A Cuban peso was worth a U.S. dollar and Cuba's economy was pretty strong. There were rich and poor just as anywhere else. But what we have seen since 1959 has been an incredible disaster in terms of freedom, justice and economy. Batista was not a nice man but he was a saint compared to Castro. Those who praise Castro are simply ignorant. Very, very ignorant.

Today I learned that Castro was referred to as the George Washington of Cuba. It made me sick. The George Washington of Cuba was a journalist, poet and author named Jose Marti. He was the spirit behind the first revolution - the one that freed the island from Spain.

Did you expect him to denounce him when Canada, unlike the US, has had good relations with Cuba over the past decades?

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is an embarrassment to a growing number of Canadians. I, on the other hand, have been embarrassed to be a Canadian ever since he was elected and foisted on the world. The man is a narcissistic total imbecile, flitting around the world taking selfies and has been out of the country far more than he has been in the country.

I could give you a litany of his idiocy, but it would only raise my digestive bile, so I'll desist.

As for this condolence tweet, people may not be aware that his father, the late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, was a great friend of Fidel Castro as well as many other of the world's socialists. Castro attended Pierre Trudeau's funeral in Montreal and became friends with Justin at that time. Justin is a woolly brained social idealist who believes that budgets balance themselves and the Chinese have a great form of government because they can institute any policies they want without opposition.

Personally, I'm delighted that more people in the world are coming to realize what a total jack ass Canada has as a Prime Minister and perhaps as days go on more and more of the Canadian voting public will also come to that realization before he's able to affect any more disasters on the country.

I would expect a head of state to convey official condolences to another country who's head of state has passed away.

The piling on of praise with BS adjectives to describe a ruthless murderer is a little poor in taste.

Name a Conservative Prime Minister in Canada who has had "good relations" with Castro and Cuba over the past decades.

The Conservatives have never had a negative relationship either just encouraging more commercial investment. But we have in no way ever had bad relations with Cuba post Trudeau Sr.
