But, for the most part, 10s of Millions of Trump supporters do NOT end up in the Hospital later, almost dead. They get a bad flu, and after a few days, get better. Sometimes they never notice getting Covid19 at all, yet end up testing positive for the Covid19 Antibodies.
As I said earlier in this thread, in reply to someone who stated that all Trump supporters never wear masks or social distance,... because all Trump supporters are mentally retarded...
Simple logic says, that what we are being told about Trump Supporters, and Covid19, CANNOT be true, or there would be Millions of Dead Trump Supporters.
And simple examination shows that:
1] 99.99% of Trump Supporters are not mentally retarded.
2] Most Trump Supporters do sometimes wear masks, when it seems warranted.
3] Most Trump Supporters do sometimes social distance, when it seems warranted.
4] Covid19 is not near as lethal as it was feared it might be in the first few months of the crisis. Covid19 does NOT have the 35+% death rate of SARS. In hindsight, the Covid19 death rate is about 3x that of the AVERAGE seasonal flu. And those deaths tend to be concentrated in small demographic groups of people with significant other health problems, due to age, or possibly kidney, liver, lung damage, or Diabetes. ( Both my wife and I belong to those at high risk!)
5] The negative economic impact of the Covid19 shutdowns is severe! Much worse than most predicted, and is likely to cause far, far more damage, than even having every single high-risk person die.
6] The country can die from a significantly high death rate virus. The country can die from significantly over-restrictive economic impacting mandates from over-reaching Government. Either way, the Nation dies.
7] The DNC and Democratic Party hoped to mis-use and abuse the Covid19 response to smear the reputation of Trump and the Trump Voters, and it backfired badly!

The mandate should cover those Trump supporters, and others because it isn't just them. Itś everyone who doesn't wear a mask and practice PPE. Those who already wore a mask will just appreciate the added prevention this brings.
Trump failed in his attempt to brush off this virus if he had listened and implemented what experts said we would have cut the amount of death and illness by 3/4. We would be in a similar position as countries that did listen to them.
It's not just about what you think our personal risk equates to. It's about how much illness our current healthcare infrastructure can handle with an additional virus added that has triple the death rate, and a much higher hospital rate to recover than the flu. It impacts all other conditions and makes it less likely people with other conditions get the care they need for those, bringing the death rate for those up as well. We can't handle it. We arent building hospitals like China, we are just burdening the ones we have. Our hospitals already had a hard time handling the flu in a bad year.
We could have subsidized income during the first shutdown, mandated masks, and PPE, and protected businesses. Instead, we opened up, didn't require PPE, and played a vicious game of covid roulette on business owners, and their employees to try and stimulate our economy. We pitted starving people against state mandates by ignoring their need for subsidies. It's cruel, and yes, people are on the losing end.
Of course, they freaked out having to monitor unmasked customers, throwing fits, and trying to keep themselves safe during political unrest, lockdown protests, civil rights protests, and anti masks advocates. Then there's the fringe like QAnon, militia, etc. acting like this virus isn't real. What a mess.
Our economy won't recover without proper handling of this virus, consumer confidence can't be forced, it has to be earned. It won't matter if we open while a virus is raging through states. It won't matter if we weigh out our personal risk. As a whole, America needs everyone to spend to survive economically. America lives paycheck to paycheck. Trump did so much wrong that the world is watching our demise. It didn't need to be this way, and nobody expected it would.
Hopefully, Biden handles it better. We need national mandates, and funding so these people don't feel the need to fight for an income while we put out this fire. If we get the spread down below 5%, we can just spot treat while everyone goes about their business with only occasional disruptions. We have good examples now, we just need to implement them. We have never ended the first wave. Time to start over.
