Can you discern a persons 'political lean' by observation alone?

You are so close to realizing that your opposite is you in different circumstances. Bravo! I knew your intelligence would eventually lead you in this direction.
"There but for the grace of God, go I"

Maybe I realize more than you think, grip_

A girlfriend and I recently stopped at a Starbucks and acting silly, discretely joked about how we blended right in with all the liberals_

I later thought how interesting it was that we had associated Starbucks with being a primarily liberal/democrat gathering place_

Have any of you ever noticed any distinguishing characteristics, mannerisms or traits that might suggest a persons political leanings?

For instance, we know that 95% of blacks and 70% of hispanics statistically vote democrat, suggesting race as a likely characteristic_

I also usually assume most artists, actors and musicians are liberal, providing I recognize them as being in the entertainment industry_

And when I see a Prius I assume that at least the owner is probably a liberal and very likely a conservative if it's a gas-guzzling SUV_

I'm well aware that these are not absolutes but I do believe they are plausible assumptions for the most part_

Do any of you disagree with any of the predictors I have suggested or know of any yourself which might indicate a persons political lean?

How bout it__are there any amateur psychoanalyst/sociologist out there?!

Scientists tend to be democrats. Oh, and starbucks is a waste of money imo. I make my coffee at home so I guess I'd be one those exceptions.

I don't know how many Prius' I saw with Romeny stickers in 2012. I just thought it was ironic since I live in the most liberal part of CA, and the only Romney stickers I ever saw were always on a Prius.

That being said Obama stickers probably outnumbered Romney stickers like 10-1 around here.
Now that you mention it, I suppose geography in of itself can be a "lean" indicator_

You could probably count the Republican San Franciscans on your fingers and toes_(slight exaggeration of course)

It's easy to discern someone's lean. Ideology doesn't lie. On those rare occasions when a purist comes to light, they're fun to demolish.

Your "whiteness" is radiantly beautiful OldGuy, as is your divine "purity"_

I like angry old guys who don't tiptoe on eggshells around political correctness_

Courage is such a rare quality these days!
