the federal government could not have banned weed if FDR hadn't have tortured the meaning of the Commerce Clause and crapped all over the tenth amendment

Russia cannot seize and annex Crimea by force but another country which I am not allowed to name here can seize and annex Syrian and occupied territories by force and we'll recognise that as legitimate. NATO, bad, Putin, not so bad.

Oh, and my new favorite - the election wasn't fair because many of the people who voted for Biden didn't actually vote for him, they voted against Trump! My brain aches when I read this contorted and false logic.

The past four years showed republicans that the democrats would do anything to try to get rid of Trump, legal or not, real or not. The list of lies told by the democrats was long and continues. Why would republicans turn the other cheek? Collusion was a hoax perpetrated by the democrats, the FBI and the Justice department under Obama. Impeachment was also a hoax done for partisan political reasons. The Presidential election has enough holes in it to cause great concern, mystery ballots, more votes than registered voters, no signature ballots, closing the tabulations in the middle of the night when Biden is far behind only to have him gain hundreds of thousands of votes in the dark of night. The left also fails to see that the "science" has more than one side, there are experts who disagree and the numbers are consistently the product of models that are based on guesswork.

Why should I try to accomplish anything with traitors who think the election was stolen from them with no evidence?

That doesn't sound like a very realistic plan. You can't compromise with these people, you just have to marginalize them so that they can't **** up things for the rest of us too badly.

Who's agenda was drug control? If it was the Dems and they controlled Congress (taking your word for it) what do they get from it? Was it a popular and demanded legislation? If it was the Reps who wanted it, what did they give the Dems to go along?

Gun was a typo, meant to say drug. I knew that about gun control. Switch gun to drug in context of the post I was quoting to get what I'm asking.

Not sure what the exact answers aren but the claim was made that Republicans and Republicans only are responsible for making marijuana illegal and that is incorrect. By DP standards, being wrong = lying.

Can the left and right even converse at this point? Sure we converse but we damn well won't agree. Too many on the left in this forum want to infringe on our Constitutional rights but then again many of them have total disdain for the Constitution because it has been the only thing that stands in their way of them transforming this country into something it was never meant to be. They want to get rid of the Electoral College so our presidents can be chosen by the largely populated Democratic strongholds gaining the power to win every presidential election from that day forward. It is all about power with them. Power to usher in our nation to be one without borders joining a socialistic/Communistic world without borders. When you lose your borders your nation no longer exists. They have the support of the globalists and corporatists with some very deep pockets. They are behind all the censorship on social media that does not agree with their thinking. They are behind the cancel culture when someone dares call them out. And if they get complete power they will transform this country to their liking.

During this pandemic it was really disheartening to see so many people on this forum willing to give up their Constitutional rights to conform to some really draconian rules some governors have forced on their people and then go after others if they don't comply denying others the choice to decide for themselves how they choose to handle it. When it got to the point a couple of days ago when the Oregon Democratic governor encouraged people to spy on their neighbors and if they were having a gathering on Thanksgiving not complying to her draconian rules to turn them in. We have seen these same Democrat hypocrites and some squishing Republican governors with the support of Democratic federal legislators and senators, who put their people through Hell while they didn't even abide by their own edicts!

So all I have to say is yes we can converse but I am a Yankee and I am not going anywhere and will fight you ever damn step of the way.

Bunch of crooks who worked for 4 years to remove a legally elected President by lying and fabricating evidence in Russian Collusion, Mueller investigation, FISA Warrants, Ukrainian investigation, Impeachment, and even using the "pandemic" as a weapon in an election and with the American People who needed relief and not politics.

This coming from the side that believes the primary determinant of "Racism" is skin color, rather than prejudicial behavior or beliefs, that Chromosomes do not determine sex, and that little boys in drag publicly twerking for dollars thrown by grown men is perfectly acceptable behavior? The side that still believes (literally the entire history the 20th Century not withstanding) that radical Marxism would make for a "utopian" society if only they were the ones running it?
