There is no ONE SINGLE "woke" component or single rule of thumb. because like anything else it's about people, who come in all forms.
But at its best connotation, let's maybe go with "enlightenment".
If a person is mindful, generous, conscientious and accountable, that contributes a fair bit of what can be termed enlightened, or "woke", because they are awakened
to the needs of others, the needs of society and the needs of the Earth. And they want their ethics to be squared up and of service to good.
And believe it or not, at best, a lot of this can and should be viewed as conservative values as much as liberal.
I don't make any attempt to defend the worst connotations of it simply because I choose not to give the negative aspects of any of it the airtime it wants.
I simply believe that critical thinking
(the opposite of knee-jerk reactionary thinking) allows us to separate the bad from the good.
If Musk, Rogan, Hannity and Carlson wish to be knee-jerk reactionaries, let them have at it, just so long as Americans recognize that for what it is.
I was originally under the impression that Tesla wanted to project enlightened values for an enlightened market.
I did not realize that Tesla wanted to be the hallmark of anarcho-vulture capitalism and knee-jerk reactionary thinking, and I didn't realize that Musk wanted the ideal
Tesla owner image to be that of an entitled prick.
A lot of cynics and pundits used to hang that on BMW owners in the old days, remember?
Perhaps this is an ideal time for Tesla to invent a new hood ornament for their cars.
A pair of lightning bolts!
