I wonder has anyone noticed that
the ITV news, esp the lunchtime news
is becoming more and more like a medical programme
almost a medical bulletin.
Serious news happenings in Iraq, or Israel,
Political developements in the USA are given a cursory
mention before they get down to the important matters
like 50 women misdiagnosed for breast cancer in Essex
or film reports about people caring for the elderly.
What is happening ? even the news is being dumbed down
today
Forget the news agenda, lets have a report about care
in the community or the latest plans for the NHS.
In the 70s there was a campagn for real ale
Perhaps now is the right time to begin a campagn for real news
