California will turn Red by 2032.

California is going to turn Red by 2032, and before you laugh, allow me to explain why. Up to this point, California has had tech dominance, which has really driven the economy. Despite this and maybe because of this as well, California has huge portions of people in tough conditions such as homelessness. So Californians have put Progressive extremists into office with the people in tough conditions hoping for government help and the techies doing well hoping to push government social policies. These Progressives have put huge regulatory burdens on the state of California. This is all about to change.

What we are starting to see now is that California is no longer going to have this dominance on technology. The people of California and the government to some extent has already started turning away from blind support of tech companies. Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg have been under a ton of scrutiny, being blamed for Hillary's loss. And frankly, tech companies are going to find that they can make more money by moving to less regulated areas. Amazon is already looking for a place to put another headquarters, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Most people don't realize that California went Red as recently as 1988, and up until 1992, California was confidently Red outside of 1964. You can go all the way back to the early 1950's where California was going confidently Red. There is still a lot of Republican support in California. Hillary Clinton only got 61.6% of the vote. So to think that California could flip back Republican is not that far-fetched. And once the tech companies start moving out, California is going to go through a lot of pain, that's going to create a lot of skepticism of Progressive extremism, and that's going to flip California Red. For those laughing, you can laugh, but just watch and learn.

You really ought to spend a few weeks living there. The farm welfare belt is already red. That's about the extent it's going to turn unless the GOP throws out the racists, plutocrats, theocrats and the assorted little useful idiots those groups have manufactured.

No. that is exactly what it means.

Your little "socialism" dig is what is not meant by progressiveness moving forward.

Progressivism literally spun out of Socialism. That's not a dig. The Socialist Party broke into two paths, one became Communism and another became the Progressive Movement. We can see countries all over the world, including Europe, where Progressivism has not taken hold, and where it has, the response against the movement has come pretty quickly.

Even Californians after the fog of Marijuana smoke clears the air when someone opens a window can still add 2+2 and come up with 4! They know the feckless policies that have been adopted by the left from climate change, tree huggers, sanctuary cities and feckless immigration policies has thrown them into high taxation, high cost of housing, set them up for massive wildfire devastation, and an overwhelming of people addicted to drugs sprawled out on their streets with their used needles. They are also seeing people in an Exodus for years leave with their companies because of the taxes and regulations of doing business in that state.

I am old enough to remember when California was red. It would nice to live long enough to see it turn red once again. It is a beautiful state that is being destroyed by leftist policies.

Are you aware of the opioid addiction in "red states"?

I understand that much of California is already Red. They don't control the control, but they offer a solid base for turning California Red.

They control the rural areas in most places. They used to split the suburbs, but Trump seems to have turned most burbs blue. The area I live in now is went purple/blue, and it's been red for over 20 years.

In Cali, the GOP lost Orange Co., and that's been Republican most of my life.

Ah, so Trump won the election but he only gets rural voters while Democrats get the city and suburbs. Adds up.

Not exactly. Trump won in 2016 while losing the popular vote by 3M. He won because he got 77,000 votes across 3 states that gave him the electoral college. In the midterms, many of those spots flipped back against him. He's only making his base and some plutocrats happy right now. Given how much effort he put in to trying to swing things his way, he's not going to do any better unless he becomes a different person, and we all know that won't happen.

If Trump could only win the rural vote he would've lost the election. 3M votes is nothing compared to what the difference would be if someone couldn't win in cities or suburbs.

You guys lost Orange County. ORANGE COUNTY. And the Democrats will retake their supermajorities in both state houses.
What was your point again? :lamo

I doubt there will be a Republican party in 2032. Trump is the beginning of the end for that party.

I'll try one more time : Trump won some suburban areas in 2016 that he lost in 2018. And yes, he was on the ballot. Need a video of him telling his peeps that? The midterms were very bad for Trump and team 'red'. That is good.

I put the beginning at Nixon's election. That's when the Southern Strategy came into play. Trump is the culmination of that racist power play. That move, and the incorporation the of religious right were Faustian bargains.

Remember me when the Republican Party still exists in 2032.

I love how you said, "And yes, [Trump] was on the ballot." Like that means he really was. No, Trump was not. In fact, the Republicans that lost mostly were the ones who refused to support Trump. Midterms are much different than the Presidential Cycle, and if the facts were on your side, you wouldn't be pretending Trump ran in 2018.

Calif. has been red several times, built up huge deficits and unemployment and the voters kicked them out.

.....and they have now killed the 'brand' having lost what little moral values they so proudly proclaimed until they supported this wretched POS in the WH.

California is getting more blue. Tech is not going anywhere and it's not the reason California is blue.

I would worry more that Texas will turn blue. It almost elected a Democrat for Senator. It's becoming more Hispanic. The cities are getting bigger. It's only a matter of time before Texas goes Blue.

And countries become more and more progressive over time. Just look at Europe and you can see the future of the United States.

But keep dreaming of a red California if it makes you feel good. The data is against this.

Isn't that how it goes? Democrats move to red states, because they're better for business, and vote against the same party that made their states so attractive to begin with.

Donald Trump says he is on the midterm ballot paper ‘even though I’m not’

It's TrumpWorld. Your reality is different when you live there, isn't it?

parasites tend to outbreed hosts. takers have more children than producers so I think you make a valid point. People become addicted to suckling on the public teat

Bingo!

We have passed the point of no return.

The GOP is dead, dead, dead.

yeah I heard that in 1976 though I do believe that the dependency addiction benefits the Democrats due to breeding patterns

That seems like a wild exaggeration.

My guess is that the Republicans will run on the fumes of White Tears and gerrymandering for another decade or so, and will have to realign when the white male cohort is no longer sufficient to win in the suburbs. Since the party will still be entrenched, they will realign somehow rather than die outright.

The country is turning blue as it turns brown. The Republican Party is shedding members. Trump is killing it the more he owns it. Young voters especially dislike him. Women are running for office like never before, against him.

Dream on, Trumpkins.
