Who could ever have imagined it?

Never before has the prosperity gospel, which contains no wealth at all, would rear its ugly spiritual head in such a fashion from north state political leadership, causing a global international awakening?

Something tantamount to a middle ages debtors prison to go with the medieval plagues that are surfacing as well Mayor Winter?

A better solution is equal protection of the law for unemployment compensation in our at-will employment States. The homeless should be able to simply apply for unemployment compensation if they find themselves unemployed by Capitalism's natural rate of unemployment.

So you wrote an OP message to derail your topic driven by an out-of-control personal fanatical hatred of Christians and 80+% of Christian Americans?

Your message diverting from the topic of jailing homeless instead to personal hatred of Christians appears to be a beta-personality submission mob mental psychosis so impairing and emotionally crippling that contact is lost with external reality that has infected most progressive-fascist Democrats.

Why do progressive-fascist atheists spit and curse at any mention of religion and Christianity in politics and government - UNTIL they believe they can pretend to be Christian religious scholars ranting about how government is not acting Christian enough, quoting the Bible claiming it should control government decisions.

I know of no issue where most progressive-fascist Democrats do not hesitate to exactly contradict themselves in pure hypocrisy (and also usually pure ignorance) because they believe doing so is tactically clever - when it just makes them look emotionally unstable and irrational.

I understand that you and most progressive Democrats believe that work is evil and that no one should have to work at all.

Rich people should just pay for everyone to have an unlimited American Express platinum card, a new Mercedes and Corvette parked in front of their free 5 bedroom 4 bath house watching a government provided 64 inch big screen TV, eating free lobster and sirloin steaks chugging it down with free craft beer while posting how it isn't enough demanding government give them more on their free smart phone before going to the protest rally demanding we go to war against still another country that they will protest after we do.

OK, let's examine that plan of yours a bit. Offering anyone (everyone?) who chooses not to work (aka loaf) the full-time equivalent of $15/hour would mean that they would be given $2,700/month (or $33,400/year) as a public reward for simply not working at all. Don't you suppose that would cause anyone now working full-time for $15/hour (or less) or now working on a part-time basis making even more per hour to simply quit their jobs?

Under such a system an adult couple would be paid "unemployment compensation" of $68,800/year (which exceeds the current median annual US household income) simply to loaf in California. California would become the magnet for the entire nation's (if not the entire world's, given their sanctuary state status) loafing class as soon as such a moronic public policy was enacted.

You left out monthly paid vacations, cruises and/or trips to the casino. ;)

So you save this identity for these special propaganda operations?

Right wing bigotry is nothing but special pleading. There is no provision for excuses in our federal doctrine. The law is employment at the will of either party in our at-will employment States.

Solving for Capitalism's natural rate of unemployment via existing legal and physical infrastructure is both cost effective and market friendly. And, ensures better market participation and the positive multiplier effect that goes with it.

Nope, the only special pleading going on here is your desire to have others pay more taxes so that you can simply loaf more comfortably.

I am a Christian …

Ummmmm

You will know they are Christians by their Love … :peace

"progressive-fascist atheists"

How many of which are there? I know you have absolutely no proof to back-up whatever you think is the % of Americans that are such. But, maybe you could give us your belief as to how many.

I could claim you only want "wage-slavery" not the Individual Liberty and freedom of employment at the will of Either party in our at-will employment States.

Hope the taxpayers enjoy the price. Wouldn't it be more economically sensible to take care of them instead of locking them up and putting the burden on the taxpayer?

Incarceration is more expensive than simply providing recourse to unemployment compensation for simply being unemployed in our at-will employment States.

You could, but I am not the government of California or even a resident. Your problem is with them and/or the voters who elected them. Convincing those who work that they should pay more taxes to allow those who simply elect not to work to be paid by the state to loaf is not likely to succeed.

Thank goodness for our First Amendment and State equivalents; your personal morality means nothing. Our Constitutions are more supreme than Any implied right wing hearsay or soothsay.

That would depend on your definition of "taking care of them" and what those costs (and results) are. If one knows that "camping out" in that city, county or state will get them locked up then they are likely to self-deport. Perhaps an offer of a bus ticket out of that jurisdiction as an alternative to a stint in jail would help.

Real compassion would be for all our well to do to open their homes and hearts, starting with Hollywood. How many rooms do some of those mansions have? Vast manicured yards have plenty of room for tents.

Now lets look at this a bit past the hatred for Christians and show some compassion for the least fortunate among us. It has been suggested to throw some funds at the situation. Fine. That is a start. But lets first examine if the homeless are able to handle their fortune. No, not all of them are drug addicts or mentally unstable, but without structure they might have some difficulties prioritizing.
Even with the best efforts and all parties willing, more immediate solutions might be preferable.
Not sure about the rest of you, but in colder climates, I think it might be possible that the homeless would actually prefer a shelter, a bed, toilet, clean water, food, instead of sleeping in their own filth.
I hope someone can come up with a solution that isn't social justice partisan pretense, but something that is actually feasible and manageable in the long term. I'll back that person.
Now carry on with your selective compassion for fellow human beings. Hypocrisy rears its ugly had so often, it is almost predictable.

Where, exactly, did you find a right to be paid to simply loaf in our Constitution?

Equal Protection of the law is part of our franchise as Citizens in the several and sovereign States and the Union.

How exactly did you come up with Your reasoning regarding potential market participants with recourse to an income for simply being unemployed on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States?

I prefer to have those (bolded above) comforts, but must spend a considerable portion of my income to have them. If we (as a society) make that optional (for everyone?) it is bound to have a significant negative impact on employment as well as require a significant increase in taxation of those who elect to work.

Equal Protection of the law is part of our franchise as Citizens in the several and sovereign States and the Union.

We have that, what we do not have is unemployment insurance with endless benefits and no work requirements.

How exactly did you come up with Your reasoning regarding potential market participants with recourse to an income for simply being unemployed on an at-will basis in our at-will employment States?

None of that aimless babble is to be found in our Constitution.
