LOS ANGELES — Kamala Harris is ramping up her outreach to longtime supporters as she weighs a run for California governor. But many Democratic donors aren’t enthusiastic, still hobbled by the hangover of her presidential loss.

Might work if the donor just woke up from a 12 month nap.

So she was a really, really bad gamble by Democrats and it bit them in the a$$.

Honestly though, what difference does it make which leftist dolt runs that state? Why would Harris be any worse or better than Newsome or Bass or Pelosi or any other liberal Borg who wants to run the place?

No. I would rather look for a real progressive candidate who did not just **** off for the last half-year after losing her run for office and continue texting my wife and I begging for donations. 7 or 8 weeks not making any noise, fine. 7 to 8 months? Just go away and stay away. If she is really listening as the interviewee in the article says, she should listen really carefully: We left-leaning Californians want someone better who is actually willing to make California a better place, not some worn-out, grasping careerist ready to say all the right things and do nothing.

Are you pretending that Trump kicked her ass?
Trump was elected by less than 1/2 of the voters, again. You lot barely squeaked your dumbass candidate over the finish line. Don't pretend he has a mandate, or he kicked ass in the election.

Who cares? She's not going to be the nominee in 2028.
I don't know who the Dems will nominate. I just know it won't be her.

I do know a recent study showed if the voters who stayed home and didn't had indeed voted, Trump would won by even a larger margin.

So now you know as well.

Stands to reason, there is not much political future for Harris given the spectacular failure of 2024.

CA donors are cool on all D candidates. Money is not the reason 2024 went bad. Incumbent D's are too old.

Okay. You're not a Californian, so your interest in this is fascinating. I'm not a Californian either. I don't care who donates to whom in the governor's race. Who are the Republicans pushing? Got an Arnold II?

I care as much about the CA gov's race as you do about the NV gov's race.

Looks like incumbent Lombardo (R) vs AG Ford (D). I voted for Lombardo because I couldn't stand Sisolak. My opinion on Lombardo is mixed. The only thing I know about AG Ford is his opposition to Trump's illegal actions. That's a plus, but not enough to get my vote. I'll need more.

Maybe I'll vote for the hot blonde.
