California Democrat Progressives Roll Up Sleeves To Help Their President Liberate The Supply Chain To Help Poor

SP slashed security personnel

The linked LA Times article details SP’s drastic cuts to its security force personnel — six persons for the area from Los Angeles to Yuma — and the requests that Los Angeles law enforcement had made to SP to help secure the area. Also, BNSF has not experienced an increase of thefts similar to SP.

Maybe SP should examine how BNSF secures its yards, and the number of security personnel used. Maybe the slashes in SP’s security has a lot to do with the increase. Crazy idea, no?
I give all the credit to the strident Los Angles progressive democrats that did all the heavy lifting here and got those desperately needed high end electronic items to the poor and needy in their communities .
Your voters are working so hard for you Mr. President .

You got to hand it to the democrat progressives, when it comes to the current distribution issues in the supply chain, they know how to get the goods .
Your voters obviously love you very much Mr. President .

Here we Go again. Another pathetic swing at the POTUS.
You have to be kidding.

Union Pacific Special Agents ARE private security, they are paid by Union Pacific...
:ROFLMAO:

Another right wing pig pile thread blown the hell up by reality.

You gotta give props to the cutting edge democrat progressive voters of Los Angles for the awesome grass roots effort to get the consumer goods to the poor and needy in their own communities .
Especially those big ticket, high end , electronic & Jewelry items the poor and needy depend on more than most.
You have much to be proud of in these voters Mr. President .

Are you certain democrats are responsible or maybe you should read my.post again.

Per the article BNSF isn’t having the same problem in the East L.A. yards as SP. Now why would that be? Perhaps the absence of security since SP slashed those employees?

The ports of Long Beach and San Pedro are among the busiest, if not the busiest, in the country. The Alameda corridor was established to move goods, Asian products primarily, from the port to distribution centers. SP knows of the heavy traffic, and at one time cared enough to protect their customers’ merchandise. Not so now.

Only Los Angles Progressive Democrat voters could implement this kind of economic justice , on a grass roots level.

How much more capacity could we fit in that right-of-way with more modular mass production of infrastructure?

We could be more environmentally friendly and clean up plastics and repurpose plastics we cannot conveniently recycle.

We can increase capacity to the extent it will fit in the right-of-way.

Again, how can they be responsible for the actions of villains etc?
They have no control over it and you know it. You carry on as if republicans cities don't have violence etc. What are you doing about that? Nothing because it's ok under a Republican government.

There's a certain, poetic irony to be found here.

You mean the progressive mantra of defunding and abolishing the police actually leads to more crime?!?!?!?

Who would have that was possible?
The police had nothing to do with this. This is the private property of which Union Pacific has their own security force,. They do not get the city police involved in these matters.

The dumb shit never ceases.

Lookie here...a picture!

American capitalism spends 40 years setting up this highly-optimized "just in time" inventory system because it's the most profitable. However, it is also the most vulnerable to disruptions in the supply chain.

Disruption happens, who do right wingers get mad at? Democrats.

It doesn't matter if it is private property or not. Most crime is committed on private property, the police are still involved. That is literally their job, to enforce the law. There would be no need for private businesses to employ their own security if leftists weren't so fanatically pro-crime.

Now is the best time to consider how much more market the Government is going to need to create to upgrade infrastructure and regulate our economy well.

Republicans refuse requests to increase embassy security in Benghazi. Enemies storm embassy and kill ambassador. Republicans blame Hillary.

Republicans slash IRS auditing of high income tax returns. Tax fraud of high incomes skyrockets, costing the American people hundreds of billions.

I had another example I forgot, maybe someone can add more.

See the pattern?

Yeah, related to the whining about theft. Fight against livable wages, help keep people in poverty, then whine when they turn to crime. Their moronic response? We need more police. Another one of their projections, they are the ones that are weak on crime since they won't do anything to address the source of crime. NO, just the same tired "more police, more in jail' nonsense

Nobody is pro-crime. It is their decision if they notify the police, which they seldom choose to do. The investigation is handled internally by UP.

Only Republicans lie like that.

It's not quite as simple as the issue only being poverty, but that's largely correlated. It can get ugly - cause poverty -> cause crime -> justify more police and jail -> create a very cheap workforce of prisoners for more profits and poverty. Basically, a modern slavery system.

Except that they don't have police powers. Only the police have police powers.

In this case, since they are only being robbed in Los Angeles, the jurisdiction falls to Los Angeles. The railroads are a business, and the fact that they have to hire their own private security speaks volumes to the failure of the progressives and their pro-crime agenda in Los Angeles.
You don't ever worry about being incorrect do you?
"Police powers are the fundamental ability of a government to enact laws to coerce its citizenry for the public good, although the term eludes an exact definition."
