Bush spied....So did clinton

I love the "so did Clinton" agrument. It's like a form of Turret's Syndrome among Republicans. When they have no defense, they pull this tired, specious argument out. All this argument says is that Bush is as bad as Clinton, and we know what Republicans think of Clinton, so that's pretty bad, isn't it? It doesn't deny or excuse the action. But didn't Bush promise to be better than Clinton? And if Bush is acting just like Clinton, then the logical extension is that Clinton acted just like Bush is now, so wouldn't that raise Clinton's stock among Repubublicans?

OK, so Clinton did it, too. Clinton and Bush both suck (but Bush swallows).
