  1. Open up notepad
  2. Type in "Bush hid the facts" with no quotes
  3. Save it anywhere
  4. Try and re-open it

Its probably a joke from some Microsoft Techie, but its definately the wierdest thing i've seen today.

 That's the most bizzare thing I'd ever seen. Probably triggers some fault inside windows. Odd still.

I have a Mac and I do not think it has NotePad. What happens?

If you save it a 2nd time around once the file has been created and flushed it saves the text properly,

Oh and the same thing happens if you replace "Bush" with "Gore." So I'm assuming this has been in windows since before XP.

The CIA infiltrate your drive and delete the text the instant you save. And then the phone rings, and you hear the words "Fool me once...."

Changes the charactering all together to some bizzare language. In essence the words are gone.
I fiddled around with it though, adding text and so on and found it's only applicable to the "Bush hid the facts" or "gore hid the facts" (without quotations). Once you added anything else it saves properly.

Still it's quite bizzare.

Actually this is a natural occurance in how data is saved.
Try any other combination of 4 letters 3 letters 3 letters 5 letters
aaaa bbb ccc dddd
This was originally ment for phrases like "this app can break"
It's all a matter of how the charactors are arranged in these kinds of documents.

Well that's cool. That's going to be fun to f#&k with some of the more mental members of my family. Thanks Nguyen.
