Bush and Christians

At risk of sounding ignorant (which I apparantly am), but I've read the gospels many times and I've missed that. What?

Hey Galen? What's up? But yea, Jesus states that there is 1 sin that can never be forgiven.

Mark 3:29
But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin."

Yeah it's blasphemy defined as "denouncing the existence of God."

*edit* Then again I just saw that you had posted it lol - I thought you were still asking.

What's more desirable in life, being honest with yourself or tailgating the rest of the herd like a mindless, obedient sheep knowing full well what they believe is in question?

I found this to be quite interesting. The life of desire is an irrational one. To live by your desires to live by your emotions, the neverending hunger for food, sex, drink, money, conquest, etc. Whatever your choice here is, whether you believe in God or not, should one not live for something eternal? If all is perishing around you, you have nothing to grab on to. I would hope Atheists and Theists alike could at least agree that belief but be in something eternal, no matter what it is, and hopefully not the ephermal quest for one's own desires.
