It makes no sense having an ambassador in Minsk when the government is fraudulent.

The US recalled its ambassador in 200 when authoritarian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka ordered a reduction of U.S. diplomatic staff after the US imposed sanctions in 2006 because of human rights abuse. Trump, always looking to favor authoritarianism, nominated an ambassador to Belarus, a country close to and economically dependent on Russia, back in April, but Congress reception was cool.

The United States currently has no Ambassador or Chargé d'Affaires assigned to Belarus.

The year our Belarus ambassador was recalled was 2008. I left off the '8' in my post #2.

Brussels will reduce cooperation with Belarus and additionally help the protesters.
When the "peaceful protest" turns, for example, into a terrorist network with brussels' money, brussels' scumbags will modestly say, that this is not how they imagined the protest, Oh, not so!

More propaganda from our Mr. Stalin.
