That's a really good point, normally it was an arm or leg shot, I guess it all depended on how heated the argument got though.

The number of paces taken by the duelers was determined by how great the grievance was. Greater grievances equaled less paces and a better chance of hitting your opponent.

I like the idea because we need a few less career incumbants. Since they stacked elections in their favor so much, it's hard to vote them out.

But fo course, this isn't a good measure of Justice, since the guy with the quicker hand will win, short of divine intervention.

agreed. I don't know (being in Cincinnati where there is a large epidemic of sick priests) if many of those priests are pedophiles since most of the boys they molest are post puberty. hitting on a 16 year old male is illegal and immoral but not pedophilia. I am not blaming gays for this either any more than blaming straights for a 30 year old guy diddling a 16 year old girl

That is a pretty progressive way of thinking...I have found myself ogling a 17 year old a couple of times and then upon the finding out his age, was almost horrified. I will say, some 16-17 year olds (boys and girls) definitely dont look it. Hell, I met my boyfriend when he was 19, he lied and told me he was 21 and I believed it until the first time we went to a bar and he couldnt get in. By then, we had been dating for over six months. That was a few years ago now. LOL

I wonder what it is about turning 30 that makes younger men and women so attractive to us? I know when I was younger (like 18) I only wanted to date 22-30 year olds because I thought the boys my age didnt look like men yet. Now I am thirty...boning an 18 year old would be at the top of my list if I ever get "divorced" LOL

I am 46-I have a hard time telling 16 year olds from 20 year olds in some cases. face it, in prior times, 14 and 15 year olds were having kids. Romeo and Juliet were based on 14 year olds I read some place.

My definition of a pedophile-lusting for a child who has not reached the age of being able to reproduce. That is purely abnormal. Lusting for a sexually mature individual is immoral in many cases but that is different from being abnormal
