BREAKING:The former Chair of the NATO Military Committee, General Petr Pavel has been elected as the next President of Czechia. Bad news for putin

Saw that. Good news.

for us Yes! , bad news for the oriental despots
He is also talking to the leader of Taiwan today.
Czech Republic is in the forefront of EU & NATO support for the democratic nation of Taiwan.

The then Senate president Milos Vystrcil became the first foreign leader to address the Taiwan parliament. Vystrcil received a standing ovation when he said in Chinese, "I am a Taiwanese." This sent the Boyz in Beijing bouncing off the walls in fury ha. It was effectively an official state to state visit.

Czech Senate Leader Declares 'I Am a Taiwanese' in Speech to Self-Ruled Island's Parliament

The head of the Czech Republic’s Senate has openly offered support for an independent and democratic Taiwan during a visit to the self-ruled island, triggering an angry backlash from China, which was already furious about his visit. During an address before Taiwan’s parliament Tuesday, Milos Vystrcil invoked the late U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s famous 1963 speech in then-West Berlin, Germany, which had become a major flashpoint of the Cold War between the United States and the Communist-run Soviet Union after East Berlin - the capital of Communist East Germany - was sealed off from the western world by the Soviets. Using Kennedy’s now-legendary phrase “Ich bin ein Berliner,” in translation “I am a Berliner,” as an example of support of freedom and democracy, Vystrcil received a standing ovation in the legislative chamber, when he said in Mandarin Chinese that “I am a Taiwanese.”

While Pelosi's effective state to state visit did not include addressing the Taiwan parliament that's controlled by the governing Democratic Progressive Party of Pres. Tsai Ing-wen it did ignite the Boyz all the more. Boyz in Beijing are angry these dayze accusing the US & Europe of "salami slicing" the One China thingy down to the nothing that it's always been. One China is effectively done and dead. It's only a matter of time before it's finally buried. Coming soon.

For sure and I would add that Taiwan's giant chipmaker TSMC is expanding production to new plants in Japan, USA, Germany -- to the tune of $40bn of new production investments. Covid and other factors of the global economy have slowed this down but TSMC already has a $12bn plant operating in Arizona and a $7bn new facility being completed in Japan.

TSMC has begun construction of another new facility in AZ for more than the $12bn invested in the existing operating plant at the expanding site. Germany's falling all over itself to receive its new plant that's still in the works. Germany isn't eastern Europe but the Leopard tank deal seals Berlin's return to the West after 20 years of the BFFs Putin-Merkle. It would be good if the Czech Republic could get a TSMC plant too eh. No eastern Europe country has been more visibly proactive toward Taiwan as the Czech Republic has and continues to be.

Lithuania itself has been publicly forward and aggressive toward Beijing. And nothing infuriates the Darwinian Boyz in Beijing as small stinging the big as this very thingy is and does ha. Good on the Lithuanians who know exactly how to get under Beijing's skin. Drive 'em nuts, same as modest sized Australia does right there in Big Beijing's own neighborhood.

Taiwan Pres. Tsai Ing-wen inspects the underground section inside the Heng Shan (Mountain) War Command Center Taipei where Beijing's military movements around Taiwan are monitored. (Shan in Chinese means mountain.)

Eastern Europe governments will be in the lead in recognizing the coming Republic of Taiwan as a sovereign and independent state. The Taipei government of the long time pro independence Democratic Progressive Party that took office in 2016 has already dissolved the very long time KMT claim to the mainland China. Taiwan agrees now there is but One China and that it is the CCP's PRC only. Taiwan has zero interest in the mainland any more, which is of course long overdue as policy. Accordingly, Taiwan has set out on its new path to become the sovereign and independent Republic of Taiwan. This is with a lot of support from its many democratic friends here and over there.

Indeed, when Beijing on Xi's orders started buzzing Taiwan with fighter planes and naval live fire exercises Pres. Tsai Ing-wen started hollering at Western democracies including democracies right there at Taiwan to pull their heads out. Our response is gratifying, encouraging, decisive. And now with the Russian armed forces getting mauled in Ukraine there's dissent within Xi's own ranks about Taiwan.

Well he can't be more embarrassing than the last one, that's for sure.
