And cotton pickin CNN is framing the shooter as a White man when he is clearly not. The 27-year-old maniac, identified as Shane Tamura, barged into a 44-story building which houses Blackstone and the NFL headquarters armed with a rifle and opened fire at around 6:30 p.m. during the evening rush.

What we know about the gunman in the Midtown Manhattan shooting

The suspect in today’s deadly shooting in Midtown Manhattan was a 27-year-old who lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, law enforcement officials told CNN.

He had no significant criminal background, officials told CNN.

The suspected gunman was born in Hawaii but later moved to Las Vegas. He had a concealed carry permit for a handgun as well as an expired private investigator license in Nevada, officials told CNN.

International borders even. And so can guns. Think about how small the market is for guns that someone intends to use for homicide, and think how easy it would be for a black market to supply that demand. Or don't. Your choice.
