Hopefully the education aspect creates a well educated population capable of being part of a modern economy, turning Brazils large population into potentially another South Korea, but with more resources and people

Lets hope! We've seen the "Brazilian miracle" before in the mid part of the last center and it got all F'd up. Second try hopefully makes things better this time around.

Brazil has long been known as a sleeping giant. In fact, Herbie Hancock once wrote a jazz piece dedicated to Brazil as a sleeping giant.

Could be that Brazil is beginning to awaken and become a regional power.
