Perhaps sleeping with a dragon makes him an expert on fires? Who knows why he wants to impede Brazil's economic development.

The French president must be a very tiny fellow to have been named "Micron".

But then Jair Bolsonaro has a brain measured in microns so there is that element of connectivity.

Threatening to throttle foreign heads of state is always a winning diplomatic strategy in the international system, so the tourism minister shares his bosses micron-sized brain. Brazil's government seems to communicate like a mob syndicate rather than a modern state. Oh, wait, they are a mob syndicate, which illegally removed all its meaningful political opponents from the last election and thus rose to power fraudulently. Silly me. I wonder when Moro will be indicted for his malfeasance in the Java Lato witch-hunt and show trial of former President DaSilva?

What we are seeing is global capitalism run amok. Capitalism is not concerned with preservation of anything, it only is concerned with the profit motive. The planet and people are seen only as commodities to be exploited. Under global capitalism an individual is useful only if they have money to spend. If no money they are thrown on the dung heap. Global capitalism is only interested in the here and now and cares nothing about future consequences.
 

That sounds like the booze talking, imo. The tourism ambassador better get a grip or tourists won't want to come to his **** hole country.

That pathetic little mini dictator Bolsonaro is an idiot and this tourism ambassador is a moron. He could not get within 1000 feet of Macron before being chopped down to the size that pathetic little man is.

And sleeping dragon Brazil? A poor sad big country where the average GDP per capita is less than 9,000 dollars compared to the French GDP per capita of more than 41,000 dollars.

In most economic statistics Brazil is far inferior to France. People who are doing as badly as Brazil should not be having such a big mouth. I guess that is Bolsonaro's attempt to look more than a piss poor leader that he is.

France is a nuclear power and Brazil is not.

Bolsonaro is acting like pathetic toddler, he should hope France tries to help his country because clearly he is not able to deal with the fires in the Amazon.
 
Micron is his new nickname in Brazil. It's up to the listener to decide what is small about him.

The general consensus is that the Bolsonaro govt. looks the other way as corporations torch large areas of the Amazon for economic development (more profits).

In addition, the indigenous Amazon Indian tribes are being burned out of their traditional homelands.
