ATLANTA -- A pregnant woman in Georgia was declared brain-dead after a medical emergency and has been kept on life support for three months by doctors to allow enough time for the baby to be born and comply with Georgia’s strict anti-abortion law, family members say.

The GOP just views women as inccubators. Lets force a brain dead woman to give birth to a child that will grow up without a mother. Bang up job anti science religious extremists.

The GOP is all about forced birth, they're terrible people and extremists. Controlling someone's body like this even in their death is fascist as ****.

This woman has a child who is spending months thinking their Mommy is just sleeping, the family is experiencing prolonged mental torture watching her body be kept alive against their wishes…and there must be absolutely incredible medical bills accumulating - plus the fetus has abnormalities that will also be incredibly expensive (IF IF the fetus even survives to be born)


I cannot stand what this country has become.

So wait a minute. Are you guys saying you want the child to perish for no reason other than the mother is brain dead? One of the great advancements of medical technology is that doesn’t have to happen anymore.

Will the State of Georgia help pay the costs of raising the child? It costs over $100,000 to raise a child from birth to adulthood. Or will it be the MAGA party who ponies up the money. Or perhaps every member of the Georgia legislature who voted the bill into law that has caused this situation will be more than ready to step up as the split the costs equally. I feckin doubt it. A lot.

The child is born. The MAGA and politicians who wanted it to be as it is can all sleep well creating a problem they will not in no way help resolve. The problem is now someone else's. Who and how? No one cares.

Life until birth and after that piss off. Jesus is pleased.

No we are saying the child may not live outside the womb and thus its pointless

I love these stupid ****s who whined about covid and my body my choice but now want to keep this brain dead woman alive.
