Bottom Line - A Trump Win Will Be The End Of Our Country

It’ll suck but nah. This is all still the last gasp of a dying ideology and dying demographic. GOP knows this is the last go-round, it’s why they’re desperate.

They cannot stop what’s coming.
I agree with you. I was thinking about that this morning reading about Shummer and AOC on stage together. It's over for the old white men on both sides of the isle.

I hope so. Elizabeth Warren would make a much better Majority Leader, for example. Over on the HOuse side, I’m a big Katie Porter stan.

Bottom Line - A Trump Win Will Be The End Of Our Country

That's an exaggeration.

What has Trump done?

1. Tax cuts for wealthy people.

2. Put up 40 miles of border fence on a 2,000 mile long border.

Trump hasn't done anything the next president can undo in a day.

That's objectively untrue (I'm assuming from context that you meant to type "can't" rather than "can"). It takes a couple weeks to fire everyone in the State Deparment or cause everyone else to quit in disgust. It'll take at least two years to restock it. And that's just the State Department. Spread across the entirety of government it's going to take two full Democratic terms unstymied by Republican opposition to fix everything.

Because, having a healthier population is a more productive population. And, if I subsidize him, he also subsidizes me. If I get down and out, I won't loose my health care coverage because of a set back.

But we're not talking about setbacks or losing coverage, we're talking about big daddy controlling your healthcare.

Because - and I know things are hard to understand - different things are different.

Sure, but you have to realize ... what??????

Why should you be forced? It's because health care in this country is a right for every American, not a privilege. You seem to be under the misconception that the ACA option is free to enrolled members. That's just incorrect. People choose a provider and they pay monthly premiums.

There were 46.5 million uninsured 'non-elderly' Americans in 2010, If something happened and they had to go to the hospital, they often just didn't pay the bill. The hospital charged it to an emergency Medicaid plan. That raised the cost of health care for everyone. Understand that already we pay for around 40% of all health care spending through federal, state and local taxes. The ACA expands the portion that the feds pay for a little bit, but not all that significantly.

It's not just the price tag. Healthcare is a commodity not a right. It ain't in the Constitution. The harm is the fact that whoever pays the bill controls the commodity.

Yet, with private companies , we do have a 'big daddy' controlling your heatlh care, the insurance companies. We have a big daddy whose profits are more important than your life.

There is no reason not to admit Puerto Rico as a state and offer DC statehood, except....BROWN PEOPLE!

One reason might be that Puerto Ricans have repeatedly rejected statehood in referenda, preferring to keep things just as they are.

You can switch private companies.

I think the idea is that they should be forced to become a State provided the voting majority would vote the right way.

Bottom line. A Trump win in November and a second term will mean the end of our country.

There is nothing that will stop Trump from taking over the country if he wins a second term. He will do everything to destroy the Constitution as he will want to have a third and a fourth term. Health care for those with pre-existing conditions will vanish..........and by the way, everyone that catches the virus will have a pre-existing and will not be able to get health insurance under the Trump administration if he gets rid of Obamacare, which he will do if he wins.

By the way, he has promised a new health care plan for months now and nothing has been announced. In the first week of August, he stated a new health care plan would be unveiled in the next 2 weeks and it has now been 6 weeks and nothing has come out

Facts say otherwise.
THe only way our country will end is if democrats go through with their pledge to burn it all down.

I wish they would do what they promised to do when trump was elected and leave.

This nation has never survived worse. Our country hasn't faced a crisis that threatens the foundation of our democracy, the U.S. Constitution. Sure, we were divided during the Civil War, and yes we suffered great human losses during WW1, WW2, Korean War and Vietnam. But we have never before been faced with literally losing the platform that this country is founded on, the rules of law under a constitution.
It is a shame but we knew for a fact that democrats hated this country and in 4 years have proven it 100% the case.
they will destroy whatever they can in order to get back control.

democrats have finally been exposed for what they have tried to hide for so long.

It really depends on how things go.

There are multiple scenarios and the one where he and McConnel get their judge, the election is close and goes to the courts, probably due to being able to count ballots received after midnight, or him and his cronys plan to stifle mail in voting works too well, And, purely partisan vote gives Trump the Presidency... That would be... Pretty much the end, if he got away with something like that, he can get away with basically anything he wants.

The thing is, we’re ****ed anyway, we’re destroying the planet at a rapid pace and the Anti-Sciencers bounce up and down, howling at the moon at science and pretending their blogs mean something, but perhaps it’s best we elect Trump and accelerate the downfall, I used to think technology would advance our society, pretty clear it’s destroying it and it’s becoming more dystopian everyday.

We’re finished, so lets make it happen quicker.
Ted Kaczynski wasn’t too far off, he just went about things the wrong way, imo

If you say you are stating facts you need to supply proof of "their pledge to burn it all down." I'm a lifelong dem and have pledged no such thing, nor has any democrat of note that I've heard of, so links please.
Meanwhile there is ample proof of Trump's attacks on the rule of law where he and his loyal cronies are concerned. If you are with Don you have a get out of jail free card.

And what exactly is coming? Do we have the violence, crime, lotting and arson to look forward to in the suburbs and more rural states?

At some point the people will wake up to the crap the liberals/socialists and their propaganda arm with the MSM are selling. The term used by Yamamoto after the pearl harbor attack was that they awakened a sleeping giant. The more people learn about BLM’s Marxism roots and the anarchist nonsense of the antifa losers will gauge that awakening.

What’s coming may be the reverse of what you think. People of all ethnic groups and skin tones will “wake up” to the political game of being used as pawns for political power.

You mean the unrest taking place right now under a GOP administration?

Follow up question: when you warn me of that frustration over perception of unequal justice and protections in our country might create unintended consequences, what would that look like? Might it be...violence? Possible even..a little rioting?

Really? You support the insurance company deciding whether you live or die based on their economic bottom line?

The pre-existing clause with healthcare and
insurance isn’t going anywhere. Nor will a second term for Trump mean the end of our country, get a grip.

Take Note: All healthcare schemes, private or socialized have a bottom line. I envision a hybrid system for the US.

A member of Wisconsin's ethics commission, Scott Ross, ordered Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., to "burn it all down" if he couldn't stop McConnell. "F-----g A, Ed. If you can't shut it down, burn it down," he said

It took all of 5 seconds to prove it.

Sorry we do not convict people that did not commit crimes in the US. They do that in China and russia though.

I guess the end is near , then. should have thought of that before you doubled down, democrats.

plus Trump hasn't destroyed the constitution yet, so I am not worried about that at all. the Dems sure have tried and promised to try harder to do so though.

if you want socialized healthcare, which i am tenatively FOR, btw, then perhaps you need to give up on the other radical BS ideas the dems espouse that directly affect the constitution or give away freedoms or modify the tenant of "equal under the law" or flood us with workers we don't need right now that take american jobs, or ''i'm ok with violent riots as long as the subject is worthy', or other radical leftist ideas that no one else wants.

You do understand that the president of the United States has little power or none with how individual states conduct themselves? To blame this GOP administration for the mismanagement with the unrest in these liberal cities is not only patiently dishonest it shows a level of twisted partisanship or naïveté not often posted.

So then why is he running on being able to clean it up? Is he that naive or is he cynically lying to the American public hoping his low info base doesn’t know the things that you know?

Curious, why aren’t you answering my legitimate debate queries but expect replies to complete nonsense?

My response is in direct acknowledgement of your point, which is that the potus has limited power to affect this. YEt it is central to his campaign right now.

If you don’t wish to answer my query, just say that.

Interesting post, but what’s more interesting is the back posts with admission and game playing to avoid any debate.
