In your opinion - what were thier reasons?

Not voting I think this poll is bogus. What ever there reasons are they showed up and payed some respect to a great american. No reason to politicize this, in my opinion

Unfortunatly I do not agree. IMO, Kerry will politicize ANYTHING.

Not to slam anyone personally however I have wonder are you part of the " vast right wing conspiracy"

well out the options, I think Kerry was there stand in the spotlight. you know damn well he did not like the man. On the other hand Bush was there because he is the PRES and I believe it was his duty to pay respect to the now fallen ex pres.

Now as far as if either one was really compassionate in their reasoning to be there well we will never know. BUT I tend to believe bush is a lot more sincere in what he does....

None of them cares

Bush had to be there because he is the actual president, if he was not there that would have been election disaster for him. The same can be said for Kerry, he is a candidate for the next election and beleive it or not Reagan despite dead can take a lot of vote away from either of them. So both had to be there.
I agree with resident bitch when he wrote:
