BOMBSHELL: Fox News CONFIRMS reporting that Trump ridiculed US soldiers ON AIR

Trump shoots from the hip a lot, has made controversial statements about McCain, isn't particularly hawkish and tends to take most criticism personally. It's entirely possible that he said something off the cuff that could be interpreted as disrespectful. That being said, actions speak louder than words and his actions have been decidedly pro-military.
Like stripping money for an on-post school at Fort Campbell for his stupid wall?

I'll leave it at this, if what he said was all that bad we'd have heard about it before now. This is OBVIOUSLY something that is being dragged out for campaign purposes. If it wasn't earth shaking news two years ago then it isn't earth shaking news today. It's just been repackaged with a "Vote For Joe" sticker on it.

Pro military? Russia offers Afghans bounties on American soldiers and Trump doesn't even mention it to Putin or even discuss it at all. There are examples similar to that going all the way back to 2017.

John McCain was just the beginning. Trump is a fu**ing coward. I hope this one takes him down. The problem with Trump is he is not human. He feels no shame or he would have already resigned.

Be sure and watch the Michael Cohen interview on MSNBC this Tuesday at 9:00pm.

That comment strikes me as being an interpretation rather than the actual words or actual intent. Like I said, if it was that bad we'd have heard it two years ago. It's not like people just now started hating Trump.

So you dont believe stories can remain hidden? Absurd.

I don't doubt for a second he said it.

But it won't matter. Republicans are going to support this worthless corrupt turd because they despise Democrats. That's all there is to it.

What's stopping you from admitting that he's an odious human being, but you support him because he wears the same hat as you?

It's disinformation. Trump referred to John McCain as a loser, not the entire military. Trump and McCain had been feuding in the press at the time, which was 5 years ago. Dem strategists are desperate to wrest military voters away from him. This should make your side appear very weak.

You need to change your name to "disinformationatallcost"

Trump about McCain

Trump Lashes Out At McCain: 'I Like People Who Weren't Captured' : The Two-Way : NPR

"I like people who weren't captured."

Such comment does not disparage just McCain as a loser. It disparages every POW

Trump insults anyone who has achieved more in the service of your country than he has. Any psychologist would recognise his comments as a defense mechanism and 'projection'. He's that insecure that he probably believes it makes him look strong. What a pathetic individual.

Anyone who doesn't see the lifetime consistent pattern of Trump's contempt towards military service and sacrifice is wilfully blind. President bone spurs avoided the draft 5 times. He discouraged and even ridiculed his son from joining. How much more evidence do you need to see?

None of these reports about who said what about who are going to stick as important. For the people who are anti-Trump, anything demeaning about him is fact. For people who support Trump, anything demeaning about him is irrelevant or bs. Because most Americans have what is - in my view - a healthy skepticism about the press's credibility, reports regarding Trump's missteps or triumphs have lost any meaningful sway. We are a seriously divided nation.

Trump often misspeaks. Everybody knows that. His detractors want to capitalize on this well known weakness and expose every last faux pas, trying to paint him as boorish and incompetent. His supporters, on the other hand, don't care about his misspeak, as they are more concerned about his policies, his conservative leaning, and a radical socialist element that they believe and arguably has infiltrated his nemesis, the Democratic party.

For the most part, the biggest influences on the presidential race are not petty recriminations from former employees, allegations that Antifa is trying to destroy the nation, or whether there is "systemic racism. " The fundamental factor that will determine the next four years is a sense of security, and that encompasses physical security, economic aka job opportunity, and most importantly, the ability to PEACEFULLY and safely conduct lives. Essentially, that's their definition of freedom, and what a free country should deliver.

If Trump wins, it's only because the Democrats have failed to assure a vast swath of Americans that they are not despised but embraced, that they are safe and that they will NOT become subject to forces antithetical to their sense of freedom. Democrats have yet to deliver on that message. That's because harping on petty issues like who said what when - as per this thread - consistently undermines their position. The Democrats will only win the White House if they take the high road and avoid these petty, interpretative sound bites, These stories fuel disharmony and put Trump supporters on the defensive about something irrelevant in the minds of many. That entrenches them and tends to make thoughtful independents wary. Unity is the key, A sense of security is the key. Otherwise, Trump has the edge. Thanks!!

He has hated the military his entire life after his dad sent him to military school because he was so spoiled

Your guy needs a drool bib, and you're focusing on a comment about John McCain from 5 years ago.

Focusing?

The country is focusing on the fact that this story is well supported by previous remarks Trump made on air, and on twitter.

He has repeatedly disparaged the military, personally attacked military personnel.

His response to this latest story is an openly false attempt at denial, and yet another attack on Gen. Kelly.

4 star marine general is weak, could not handle pressure... the Trump base is beyond lost

It's actually quite hilarious that you guys STILL DON'T GET IT. 4 years later, you still don't get it.

Trump supporters, really DON'T CARE WHAT HE SAYS, they care...what he does, actions. And the reason they support Trump the way they do, is THERE IS NO BETTER ALTERNATIVE. Joe Biden, REALLY? I mean, that's not even close. The fact that you guys are so hung up on words still, says a lot.

So you support trump saying this

Wow

"BOMBSHELL: Fox News CONFIRMS reporting that Trump ridiculed US soldiers ON AIR"

Fox News did no such thing.

The Atlantic: "... In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed. ..."

Fox News John Roberts twitter: Bolton was in the room with POTUS when the decisions were being made

.@AmbJohnBolton told me today that if @realDonaldTrump had said he didn’t want to visit Aisne-Marne because the interred heroes were “losers” and “suckers”, he would have written an entire chapter about it in his book #TheRoomWhereItHappened

I'll let Jen respond to this more fully. We co-ordinated our reporting tonight on @SpecialReport. She specifically reported that her sources had NOT confirmed "the most salacious part" of the Atlantic article about POTUS calling war dead at Aisne-Marnes "losers" and "suckers"

Disgruntled former employees will talk BS all day long - anonymously -, however, even those did not sink that low to confirm that the Atlantic's claim - POTUS calling war dead at Aisne-Marnes "losers" and "suckers" - is true.

Bolton admits he was not present at all times when sources report trump said these things

Wow

Nope, I think it's idiotic......but I think his actions and policies are much better than anyone the Democrats have thrown up there for comparison.....

No, words are not actions....they are words.....put your participation trophy back.

I would never ever ever ever vote for Biden if he said this.

Those are my values
