Bombs go off across Baghdad; at least 76 die - World news - Mideast/N. Africa - Conflict in Iraq - msnbc.com

i have to say it's becoming harder and harder to care about iraq or afghanistan. we need to get out now, those people have to learn how to stand up. the politicans in iraq are paid very handsomely, yet don't do a freaking thing. they live in prosperity while ordinary citizens have no electricity, after all this time.

oh wait, sounds a little like OUR politicians. maybe the Iraqis ARE learning?

There was never going to be a good end. One day Iraq may change and become better than today. but when and if it does, it will be because Iraqis created their own country. It was hubris to suggest we could come in and create what we wanted. And vanity to want credit for what was always their burden to carry, their blood to pay.
