Bodycam footage of the attack on Paul Pelosi

It's an appalling reflection on society that the authorities felt it necessary to release this footage to dispel the Faux disinformation.
Fox News has actually been running this story, pretty much fairly, on their webpage.

Not sure why. Fear of another big lawsuit?

Alright. You are the defense attorney and you have Paul Pelosi on the stand. What would YOU ask him?

Which did he do in order to open the door?

A- Did he put down his hi-ball and open the door with his left hand while holding the hammer with the other hand or;

B- Did he hold on to his drink in his left hand, open the door with his right, then grab the hammer?

Easily answered by the video. Please catch up, your mommy doesn't work here.

Watch the video. Just watch it.

Who opens the door?

Yeah, you have no idea. In fact, it looks like some kind of automatic door.

But mostly ask yourself what kind of slimeball would desperately search for some culpability -- any culpability -- to put onto an old man as he's getting his head bashed in.

That's the central question here.

Who opens the door?

Yeah, you have no idea.
No, it is clear as day Pelosi opened the door. You can watch his arm move back from it afterward and then go to the attacker's arm.

Yeah, I lost my MAGA glasses, so I really can't see that.

It appears to be some kind of automatic door. Notice how it continues to swing open after Pelosi was able to push the door-opening mechanism... while still keeping his weapon (the glass) in his left hand.

Super smart and capable, that Pelosi guy.

Yes, I definitely see that. And you can see the hand with the drink pull back after pushing the button for the mechanism. Thanks

Yea it is a giant conspiracy.
When the DA and the prosecution are both resisting to release things that are normally part of the public record and continue to slow walk it's release after a judge ordered they comply, it does give off a conspiracy-esque vibe.

Or maybe some people are just given to conspiracy theories regardless of anything. There was nothing to suggest that the conspiracy theories being promoted by the right were true, yet right wingers promoted them just the same.

It also doesn't help when Republican leaders in government and media create and amplify those conspiracy theories.

Nobody on the left has any room to talk when their left wing media allies promote the same kind of nonsense and their audience eats it up hook, line, and sinker.

1. Trump is a Russian asset
2. The lab leak was a right wing conspiracy
3. Hunters laptop was Russian disinformation

Those are just a few. There are many more.

4. Trump keeping kids in cages
5. Border patrol agents whipping illegal aliens
6.the convention kid taunting a native American
7. Hands up don't shoot

So other people put a gun to your head and made you spout baseless conspiracy theories? Why do you allow others to have such control over your mind?

Why did you respond just to deflect?

Lol I knew that was coming. Your posts have become predictable.
How did liberals force you to spout baseless conspiracy theories?

Whataboutism gives a clue to its meaning in its name. It is not merely the changing of a subject to deflect away from an earlier subject as a political strategy; it’s essentially a reversal of accusation, arguing that an opponent is guilty of an offense just as egregious or worse than what the original party was accused of doing, however unconnected the offenses may be.

The tactic behind whataboutism has been around for a long time. Rhetoricians generally consider it to be a form of tu quoque, which means "you too" in Latin and involves charging your accuser with whatever it is you've just been accused of rather than refuting the truth of the accusation made against you. Tu quoque is considered to be a logical fallacy, because whether or not the original accuser is likewise guilty of an offense has no bearing on the truth value of the original accusation.

Whataboutism is an argumentative tactic where a person or group responds to an accusation or difficult question by deflection. Instead of addressing the point made, they counter it with “but what about X?”.

Post 135 clearly suggests otherwise. Were you in control of your own mind if or when you spouted conspiracy theories about the attack against Paul Pelosi?

No DA is quick to put anything investigation related out quickly unless they are looking for either the target or witnesses. Both of these investigations/prosecutions did not.

You love the guy who sues to stop the flow of information but all of the sudden you have a problem with someone whom you dislike politically.

I am shocked

I haven’t heard of 75% of what you listed, then again I am a rational person.

How long did it take them to release the police body cams in the Memphis case? It took days. Compare that to both cases involving Pelosi. They took months. Big difference in how information that is public record is being treated. That is what feeds conspiracy theories. If the polivr video was sat on for months there would be all kinds of CTs floating around what was contained on it.
