I'll bet money DisneyDude worshipped Clinton. Did anyone hear Clinton's speech to the 1988 DNC. you could have gone through a colonoscopy without any discomfort after hearing that snoozer
Actually...if you want to know the truth. I was not a Clinton supporter. He was not even one of my picks in 92. However, he won me over. He was way to moderate for my tastes and I disagreed with him on NAFTA, but all in all he was one of the better Presidents in my lifetime.
Yet another example of what I was speaking about. I don't care who he was, or what he did... but as you PERFECTLY ILLUSTRATE, you know more about Joe-the -Plumber than what Joe-the -Plumber accomplished.
And what did he do? Joe-the-Plumber did the job the press failed to do. He asked a simple question, and let Obama run his mounth for minutes... until he eventually spat out his "spread the wealth around" plan. ObaMarxonomics 101. THEN the Journolists descended on Joe-the-Plumber.
Why the interest in a guy that asked a question of a candidate? It was a smoke screen to hide a statement that would usually sink a candidate.
Again... you illustrated my point to perfection. Amazing you didn't see the mile wide trap, but I'd bet good money you didn't know what Joe-the-Plumber accmplished and why he was a target. Just think of it... he gives Obama rope, Obama hangs himself... and the Journolists go after a private citizen asking a question of a presidential candidate. Truly, truly bizarre.
And I thank you.
PS. He's not a hero, only an American guy concerned about his country guy that did a job the Journolists failed to do, vet the candidate... because they're Journolists... Cheerleaders... Protectors.
.
Joe let Obama run his mouth and basically shoot himself, and in any normal election he would have been seriously damaged "spread-the-wealth around" comment. Instead the press turned on Joe-the-Plumber.
.
A lot of Obama's comments should have destroyed his campaign. But the media saved him and ignored major forms of criticism. Instead they pushed the anti-Bush message and tried to paint all Republicans like a 3rd Bush term (while completely ignoring that Bush had to deal with a Dem House and Senate). Obama's "guns and religion" comment should have destroyed him too.
Right. You never attack the messenger do you?

I am shocked that Bobby Jindal is still around and anyone can take him seriously.

They don't.....LOL.
Do results ever matter to someone like you? Any idea what Obama's approval ratings are in Louisiana vs. Jindal's? Did you see the election results on November 2? Those were results not rhetoric driven. Obama gives a great speech but results, not words matter.
I think liberals-who tend to be more emotionally driven than rational-are more impressed by people who give flowery speeches because that appeals to emotion rather than logic. Obama appeals to such individuals because saying something well that means nothing counts more to them than actually doing something that counts

Oh please...spare me. First off....I would be shocked if Jindal didn't get better ratings in LA than Obama...its a red state....DOH...and Jindal is the home town boy. Good luck getting that from the rest of the country.
Second....have you looked at any of the exit polls? The election results had very little to do with Obama and/or his policies. It was economy driven...that's it.
People weren't voting in favor of Republicans...they were voting for a change in hopes that the economy might pick up.
Seriously....you guys should run Palin and Jindal. That would be EXCELLENT for the GOP. I'd even contribute.

You really do live in a dream world where rhetoric trumps reality. What makes a "red state" red? Policy. I am pretty sure that if the Republicans ran "Dilbert" in 2012 against this empty suit he would win. You voted for the least experienced individual running for office as President and are getting the results that represent that resume. Qualifications for being President doesn't matter in the liberal world as you prefer a good speech over good policy.
Not sure what makes a "red state red". But here in Illinois we have a pretty good idea what make a "blue state blue".
We call it the Chicago Machine.....
