After finding that Rolfe was not afforded due process when he was fired, a review board has reinstated the officer who shot Rayshard Brooks after Brooks assaulted Rolfe and his partner, stole the partner's Taser, and tried to use it to incapacitate Rolfe, who was in pursuit.

It's about time. We're still awaiting the dismissal of the insane murder charge, and the rest of them also.

Simply no excuse for what Brooks did. To have fired a police officer for doing his job and defending himself and partner was inappropriate. No due process is just wrong.

They only overturned it on the basis that they didnt follow proper departmental process in doing so...in firing him.

Nothing they did reflects his innocence or guilt.

The firing was purely political, as many of us said at the time. The corrupt DA Paul Howard is now gone, and the new DA doesn't want anything to do with this case because it was handled so poorly.
