Reading the proverbial writing on the wall, auto makers are positioning themselves to quickly transition to mostly electric vehicles sooner rather than later.

I tend to think this changeover will occur in Europe and SE Asia first, with the United States finally embracing the inevitable.
 

The cost of batteries will be the determining factor in this.

I read an article saying that within 15 years, EV's will be cheaper than ICE powered cars to purchase and, obviously, cheaper to operate as no gas needs to be purchased to make them move.

If the technocrats and and Green Power Brokers just STFU and get out of the way, this will occur organically and cost nothing outside of the purchase price of the cars paid by the consumers.

I'm pretty sure, though, that billions, maybe trillions, will be appropriated for theft by our elected officials.
