Bloomberg paying off fines and restitution of over 32K felons in Fl.

Again, lambasting rich guy for removing artificial barriers to voting=bad, preventing people from voting=good.

If only we could, for once, make it really hard for Republicans to vote.

Well down here in south Georgia, we could just ask them who their daddy is. Oh wait, that's not a party related thing.

When felons lose their voting priveleges that isn't a "poll tax", it is the necessary and intelligent result of what happens to people who live outside the law. In other words punishment. So, unless you would also feel it appropriate for someone to "pay the fine" for felons who have as a result of their crimes had their guns confiscated and their right to own guns suspened, then you are just doing what all liberals do, and that is having selective outrage.
You know what? That is a great idea. Don't be selective at all. Anyone who owes any fines or judgments loses their constitutional rights to everything until full restitution to society. Outstanding speeding tickets? No guns, no vote. Owe back child support? No guns, no vote. Great idea there CJ. Run with that.

Sure it does....it's called "intent". They have stated their intent for all to see, so there is no doubt whatsoever why they are doing this vote buying scheme. It is illegal to do so, no matter what you or I say....their own words convict them.
Call a cop.

No charges....its legal

It is illegal for them, when their "intent" is to acquire more votes for Joe Biden.....that is called "vote buying" and it is illegal. As has been shown already in this thread Bloomberg and the democrat operatives doing this scheme, have stated thusly......so they have admitted to buying votes. You are not so naive to think they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts, are you?......if so, wow, there can be no help.
Intent is not an overt action which is needed for the crime. Duh

Is this really happening in America? A billionaire raising money and paying off the fines of felons in Florida, so they can register to vote. If this is not criminal, I don't know what is....goodness. This needs to be investigated immediately and forthwith to get to the bottom of this vote buying, bribery scheme.

This is so wrong on so many counts.....unbelievable.
Talk about buying votes...

The the left claims it's the right that's up to no good.

Buying something, whether a brick of cheese, or a vote, requires both an offer, and an acceptance of the offer. One person gets the cheese, the other gets the money. In this case, there is no cheese. There was no offer of goods or services, and there was no acceptance of money in exchange for such.

There you go, reasoning.... or should I say, NOT reasoning-- just like a liberal. Speeding/parking tickets are what we call "infractions". They aren't even classified as crimes. They aren't even misdemeanors. FELONIES are a different matter, a STARK difference than minor infractions or non serious crimes. Child support issues are usually handled in 'family courts'--- which are somewhat close to civil courts in many states.

So no, you clearly don't get it. As with most liberals the inability to look at a situation rationally has escaped you. Which is why it is usually a liberal that would expel a 5 year old for talking about a squirt gun at school. You hear "gun" and suddenly you think D-Day invasion, and then go ahead and expel the kid from class.

Wrong. They are all crimes if they violate a federal, state, county or city statute or ordinance

Nope, they aren't all crimes. Look up "infraction" these are non serious violations. They do not ever include jail time, probation, or a criminal record. They are minor rule violations. If you are going to start considering infractions as crimes, then that would make a lot of people "criminals"---- not something we do.

Equating them with FELONIES is pretty stupid. Try to keep up.

Proof the libtards can't win on ideas. Their desperation will be their further undoing.

Oh the irony.

Your party relies on the technicality of the EC TO stay relevant...because you know you're greatly outnumbered.

Plus, Trump's entire "re-election" campaign is flinging as much mud at Biden as possible...because he has ZERO accomplishments to run on.

What is wrong is requiring excons to pay a fine before they can vote, that's jim-crow for ex cons.

And what is wrong about a billionaire helping those who can't afford to pay their fines?

What? He's not telling them how to vote, is he ? ( I would have a problem with that ) as long as he gives the money
without condition, there is nothing wrong with it.

It's a different word for a type of crime but legally they all remain crimes.

Infractions are a different word than felonies because they aren't considered crimes.

Show me anyone with 20 parking tickets (infractions) where that is recorded as a criminal record?

Not crimes.

Yes they are. But in the statute they are defined as crimes.
