BLM Claims Pokemon Go is Inherently Racist

Seems a bit editorialised. The original blog does not accuse the game of being inherently racist unless I missed something.

I'm not sure where the guy reporting on the blog got ideas of aryan avatars and monsters with colored names and the game being racist. Perhaps hyperbolic satire? It's unclear.

I was wondering the same thing because it just read as nonsense

Not only that but calling the characters of the game titles of individual games

I like how a headless organization which is not much more than a twitter movement. But when anyone who happens to be black speaks... the right attributes their comments as coming directly from the president and CEO of BLM.

Not headless, brainless.

I see no evidence that Black Lives Matter as a movement endorsed by this article. The thread title is false.

No, BLM Inc did not. They merely fostered the morally and intellectually bankrupt culture that would create such thinking.

Pokemon is a Japanese franchise that became popular in the west (and of course in Japan). There is basically no racial diversity in Japan and for some individuals there is a xenophobic undertone, the "white" style is more of an "anime" style intended to mainly represent Asians even though to the western eye they appear white and have more European physical features, that's just how it is. The art style of pokemon follows this style as well. For all intents and purposes, your avatar is a Japanese person in typical anime style as it follows the art style. It's hardly a game developed by white people to only allow players to make a white character.

In other words, the thread title is false and misleading.

Better thread title: Blogger thinks other blogger is BLM, but doesn't read his blog, and then makes **** up.

Translation: BLM is good, anything not good said about it is wrong and Racist.

Thing is, no one argued otherwise.

You need a new translator. Did you read the single article the blogger in the OP referenced? It said nothing about Pokemon Go being inherently racist. And he has no source for his other claims about what BLM thinks of Pokemon.

So you had to make this about you now?

Is this **** actually serious?
