Bledsoe is horrible!!!!! (1 Viewer)

Dammit...

Another Cowboy loss because Drew Bledsoe sucks... period... He's a disgrace to the rich Cowboy Quarterback history... Aikman and Staubach(5 Super Bowl rings between them) must be sick to their stomachs today after that performance yesterday...

The Cowboys will NEVER be a Super Bowl quality team, even though they have Super Bowl talent elsewhere, with Bledsoe as their quarterback... Come on Jerry and Tuna, get a quality QB and do something with the season, it's not too late...

Ha Ha. On Monday the Giants made most of the team look like crap, in their own stadium. It wasn't Drew's fault it was the o-line's fault. I don't think Jerry Jones gives two shits about history. Emmitt Smith, greatest running back in the history of the franchise, "Lets dump him, to hell that he gave us three Super Bowls." T.O., he spiked the ball on the star (one of the greatest moments in NFL history) and then a few years later they sign him. WTF.

It wasn't the O-line, who I agree sucks... that threw the interception at the goal line at the end of the first half. Bledsoe was the guy who looked at Terry Glynn all the way and threw the ball even though the DB had position on him... he's a veteran, he's not supposed to make stupid mistakes like that... and he does it all the time...

Emmitt is just another example of the business of the NFL, same with Jerry Rice finishing his career as a Raider, OJ ending his career as a 49er, Unitas ended his career somewhere sucky too... it happens, I can't fault Jerry Jones, not in this era of salary cap... and I think Emmitt is the greatest running back in the history of the NFL, too...

That defense gave up nearly 160 yards on the ground.

They never gave the offense a chance to get back in the game.

Bledsoe is horribly average.

You turn the ball over as often as Bledsoe/Romo did, you put the defense on the field longer... the longer the defense is on the field, the quicker they get tired... the more tired they are, the more yards they're going to give up, especially rushing yards...

It's a direct correlation... and yes, Bledsoe is horribly average... below average in my opinion... and highly career overrated

the defense was on the field first, and promptly gave up a touchdown.

The defense, having the entire half time to rest, came back on to the field after an interception and promptly gave up a touchdown.

Rest had nothing to do with it. interceptions happen when you are pressed to keep up with the high scoring opposition as well.

The bottom line is the way the defense played, teams generally lose.

I agree... when you give up 5+ TO's in a game, especially against a quality team such as the Giants... you generally lose, also...

Romo didn't turn out to be any better. People have been screaming for him since the season started. He went out there and threw three interceptions for Bledsoe's one.

It would be foolish to make that determination so soon.

Bledsoe, at 34 years of age, was making the same rookie mistakes as Romo, who entered the game throwing a grand total of two passes.

and of the three interceptions, 1 was a tipped pass and the other was on a screen where the running back was being bear hugged by Anonio Pierce. Only the last one, when we were running out of time and needing a miracle was clearly on him.

My opinion is when your defense is unable to do their job, the offensive line is unable to do their job, then you might as well evaluate the younger QB who seems to be no less able then the 34 year old.

The entire team is terrible. T.O. is a cancer!

They are hardly terrible. More like average. 3-3 now - likely around 8-8 to finish the year. Mediocre.
